GREEN definitely isn’t the new black 🫣💚

Over the years of spray tanning, I can luckily say I’ve only had a handful of clients experience a green/khaki reaction — and no, I’m not talking about that little green reaction we sometimes see in the tanning room from deodorant residue 😂

I know GREEN looks scary, especially when you’ve rinsed, looked in the mirror and thought ummm… Dee-Jay?! 🫠

But trust me when I say: it doesn’t mean your tan is ruined + it doesn’t mean this is your final result.

So, why can it happen?

Sometimes the green/khaki colour you’re seeing can be the cosmetic bronzer/guide colour behaving differently on the skin — particularly with heat, moisture/sweating or changes in the condition of your skin.

And remember, your skin isn’t the same every day. Hydration, hormones, your cycle, body temperature, sweating, skincare + the condition of your skin barrier can all influence how your skin behaves from one appointment to another.

In the cases I’ve seen, that green/khaki appearance has been temporary + settled as the tan continued developing, often within the first 24 hours.
