Talking today about different stages of life we get to pass through. So many big changes come as we get into relationships and become parents and have to really start being about not only our future but someone else’s. Even just with today’s workout, I have had stages where it would have been easier but also where I wouldn’t have done it. Who’s to say where your prime is, why not keep giving yourself a chance for it to be on the way!
Imagine if we could keep providing an environment that your people wanted to turn up and give everything. In a sporting setting it is expected that this will happen, regardless of level. However we cut ourselves slack when it comes to the things that are most important in most of our lives. Imagine if we followed through completely on everything, work our relationships but most of all on the little things we tell ourselves!
Learning any new skill is an add on to your life, will juggling or handstands help your earning potential? Maybe if it’s circus work you’re chasing. What it will do is reinforce that you can learn new things. So many people stop learning and say this is me now until they are forced into it.
The skill of being able to communicate is one of the most important but maybe least practiced. Having a mindful approach to how your emotions impact how you communicate is a lost art.
If you’re in the people business I can help you get into this with your people. Go to Bigtalk.au and book a call or message me here.
The world needs more people that make both sides of an interaction rewarding.
Why is it that some days just feel so easy and productive? How do we find more flow in our days which will give us better lives?
If you are an employer, manager, coach or you are around any of the above when was the last conversation you had around this. How do you know what motivates each other to be better, what are you leaving on the table because you don't know this?
Is your communication amongst everyone good just because you say so? Reach out and let me help you explore how your group feels regularly because the flow on is massive.
I have no idea what your hard looks like, everyone has their own version. In Thargomindah which was completely inundated with flood water last year, we discussed what looked impossible in the moment is now a memory. When we do get through things, let them strengthen you for all you have to face. This is also proof for others that you might have to lead next time.
There are thermometers and thermostats in all of our circles. Unfortunately some of them only set a negative tone. There are people in a lot of work places that everyone will wait and see how they present in the morning to set the temp for the day.
If you don’t see yourself as the thermostat then you need to seek some out that only bring the up energy. I have been fortunate to land myself RMVT group right now and it has some genuine setters in it. You can feel it in these guys even in online meetings. The next challenge is to take all you can from these people and start to bring it to your own life, not so others don’t impact you so they can’t impact you!
Kids are a great teacher of the fact that your emotions are liars at times. Your emotions will tell you everything is horrible and you should react accordingly when in fact it is just passing through and there is no reaction required! So often you will see the adults excuse poor behaviour as “Passion” when I believe it is poor regulation skills. Get better at acknowledging the emotional back and forth and hopefully we get better at how we respond. Also how good is that tree!! ’s
Thargomindah bound!

At Pro Mindset Academy one of the tools we aim to provide kids with is the awareness to understand that not everything is going to happen as we plan for. Knowing how to stay in the moment allows them to understand a missed opportunity is not them losing their touch but just a singular instance. Stopping the spiral of thoughts is a skill that still alludes some that we buy tickets to watch!! A tough mindset is often one that can just see things for what they are go to the next thing!
