Hi everyone!

Just a little update for any new and current clients booking in their appointments through the online booking system.

Some changes have been made to the online booking process in regards to how far in advance you will be able to book in so please read through and let me know if you have any questions.

I appreciate you all so much and I'm trying my hardest to fit everyone in but it's becoming very hard to get any last minute spots or to reschedule you if your sick.

You can always book a few appointments in ahead of time with me in salon if you know your schedule or you can request a recurring appointment spot that's just for you 😉

Just a reminder that the salon will be shut for two weeks over the Christmas and New Year period.

I will be working up until 12pm on Christmas Eve for any last minute pick ups of physical gift vouchers and gift packs.

If you have left it until the last minute to decide on a gift then don't worry you can still purchase gift vouchers online that will be sent to your email or the recipients email as a digital e-voucher. This is an automated system so make sure you double check all of the details and if you don't receive the e-voucher straight away please check your junk folder as sometimes it gets sent there if you haven't received an email from me before.

January is nearly fully booked with very limited spots available towards the end of the month so please consider booking ahead for your next appt now if you haven't already done so with me in salon.

Everyone has been extremely organised this year to book in advance which means nearly all of the December availability is gone with only a few small appt spots in the first and second week of December left. In the lead up to Christmas you will now be able to book in on Thursdays. All availability for upcoming Thursdays has been added to the online booking system. If you have missed out on securing a spot then make sure to add yourself to the waitlist with any available dates you have and if I get any cancellations I can let you know.

Swipe for the before photos taken on the 14th of January, we have been working on growing the length of her natural nail and building more curve back to the nail bed.

Each appointment I do a dry e-file manicure and a rebalance of the previous BIAB application. I have needed to file the length of these nails since the 3rd manicure which was only 9 weeks after the initial appointment ☺️

Growing your natural nails is a journey but with regular manicures every 3-4 weeks you can achieve your goals.

Lash lift appointments always start and finish with photos taken of your lashes from a few different angles. These photos will be used mainly in the salon for my client and myself to review together at the start of their future appointments.

Photos are important for us to see the visible transformation of your lashes but we also need them as a reference at future appointments incase we need to change the treatment procedures for a different outcome.

Many adjustments can be made in future lash lift appointments to achieve a better result or a different look altogether. Some things we will be changing at my clients next appointment to get a more consistent lift through the middle and outer corner are:

-adjusting lash placement on the shield
-applying solution on the middle and outer corners first for a longer processing time
-using a different shield size and shape

Detailed notes are also required at each lash lift appointment so I can tweak the above steps for my client to achieve her desired results. I never promise my clients a perfect result the first or even the second appointment as it can take time to figure out what my client wants and what is achievable for their lashes and eye shape. I'm committed to building my clients trust and I do this by having thorough consultations and working within safe treatment parameters so I can maintain the health of my clients lashes as we work towards their lash lift goals.

Hair reduction and/or removal comes in many different forms; waxing, shaving, IPL, epliation, depilatory creams, threading, sugaring, bleaching etc

Here at Earthy Days Beauty we specialise in waxing with the use of either hot wax or strip wax depending on each clients specific skin and hair type.

We don't have gender specific pricing for our waxing treatments as we are an inclusive salon. We aim to create a safe treatment space for our customers, and a more inclusive experience for those in the LGBTQIA+ community.

If you have never had a waxing treatment before you can book a 'patch test appointment' to see how the treatment feels and montior how your skin reacts before booking in an entire service.

Do you want a manicure that lasts 4 weeks?

BIAB or Builder in a Bottle is a gel polish designed to stay on the nail without the need to soak off at each appointment.

How does it last 4 weeks?!

The prep of your natural nail plate and cuticle area, combined with the method of application allows for the BIAB to stay on your nails as they grow. Proper aftercare like not using your nails as tools or washing up without gloves and using a cuticle oil regualary will help to prevent any lifting.

What is a BIAB Manicure?

A dry manicure is performed using a electric file (e-file) to prep your nail plate and remove any cuticle. This part of the appointment can take a bit of time to make sure the nail plate is free from cuticle and oils to ensure the product will last. Next you pick the BIAB colour you want and we apply to each nail, creating an appex to give the product strength. Once applied the BIAB is filed and buffed to refine the shape and then top coat is applied. You now get to enjoy your beautifully manicured nails and return in 4 weeks time for your rebalance appointment.
