The Age-Well Room
Sunshine Coast Award Winning Plasma Fibroblast Clinician - Australian Trainer - Anti-ageing Specialist - Facialist
A small, specialised clinic providing high end treatments for anti-ageing and pelvic floor strengthening. Skin Therapist and Pelvic Health Practitioner, Bec, provides services in non-surgical facelifts with the world renowned Plasma Fibroblast - Plasma Pen and using The Pelvic Floor Chair, to non-invasively strengthen the pelvic floor to combat incontinence, leaking and improve sexually function for both women and men.
If embarrassment has stopped you asking about bladder leakage, urgency or pelvic floor changes, you are not alone.
These conversations are normal in our room. You do not need the perfect words, and you do not have to share more than you are comfortable sharing. A simple “this has started happening” is enough to begin.
Send us a private message. We will answer respectfully, explain your options and let you decide what feels right, without pressure.

If you’ve been researching microneedling or skin needling, there’s something I want you to know about the treatment I use at The Age Well Room.
Fusion8’s Derma Plasma system uses a roller or stamp to create controlled microchannels.
But unlike conventional rolling, the Fusion8 system delivers plasma to the needle tips.
The treatment is described as creating microchannels for infusion, collagen stimulation and tightening of the epidermis, with applications including skin tone, texture, elasticity and scar tissue.
That’s why you’ll hear me refer to it as Fusion8 Derma Plasma, rather than simply “microneedling”.
Same little needles?
There’s a little more going on behind them. 😉

Plasma Fibroblast isn’t a treatment I’d choose based purely on the cheapest price.
You’re deliberately creating a controlled response in the skin.
So I’d want to know:
How experienced is the person treating me?
What training have they had?
Do they understand contraindications?
What happens if my skin isn’t suitable?
What should I expect while I’m healing?
And what aftercare support will I receive?
I’ve worked with Plasma Pen for years and I am the Australian trainer for Plasma Pen LW International.
And one of the most important parts of experience isn’t knowing how to treat.
It’s knowing when not to treat.
If you’re comparing Plasma Fibroblast treatments on the Sunshine Coast, please ask more questions than simply the price.
Your skin deserves that.
Waking several times to use the bathroom can affect far more than sleep. It can leave you tired, anxious about travel and planning your evenings around the nearest toilet.
Night-time urination has many possible causes, including fluid timing, medicines, sleep issues, bladder conditions and other health concerns. It deserves assessment rather than a quick assumption.
Keep a simple record of drinks, bathroom visits and symptoms, then speak with your GP or continence professional. You are also welcome to message us about pelvic floor support.

Pelvic Floor Weakness
Sometimes we don’t recognise bladder leakage as a problem because we’ve become incredibly good at managing around it.
You cross your legs before you sneeze.
Go to the toilet before leaving home.
Avoid the trampoline.
Wear a liner when exercising.
And tell yourself:
“It’s only a little bit.”
But these little adaptations can be signs that your pelvic floor isn’t supporting you as well as it once did.
The Pelvic Floor Chair at The Age Well Room provides a completely non-invasive way to stimulate your pelvic floor muscles while you remain fully clothed.
30-minute appointments.
$120 per session | 5 sessions $450.
Discount available for clients aged 65+.

Private messages are always welcome. 🤍
One pelvic floor session can feel interesting, but lasting change usually needs a plan.
Depending on your symptoms and response, an initial course may involve six to eight sessions, often weekly or twice weekly. We review progress rather than selling everyone the same package, and maintenance is discussed only if it makes sense for you.
Sessions are 30 minutes and fully clothed. Book a free consultation to talk through realistic expectations, pricing and whether the chair is appropriate for your situation.

Treat the FULL eye area.
👀FULL EYE LIFT
Plasma Fibroblast
Sometimes it’s not one line or wrinkle that bothers you.
It’s the whole eye area.
Perhaps your upper lids are becoming heavier, the skin underneath your eyes looks more crepey, or you’ve noticed increasing laxity and fine lines around the outer eye.
That’s where my Full Eye Lift with Plasma Fibroblast comes in.
Rather than focusing on just one small area, I can assess the upper and lower eye area and crow’s feet and create a treatment plan for the eyes as a whole.
Plasma Fibroblast uses precise plasma points to create a controlled response in the skin. The aim is not to change the shape of your eyes or make you look like someone else.
It’s about improving the appearance of loose, crepey and ageing skin while keeping your results natural.
And I want to be clear about something:
There is downtime.
You’ll have the characteristic tiny carbon crusts after treatment, and swelling around the eyes can occur. I’ll explain the healing process and aftercare properly before we decide to go ahead.
I’ve worked with Plasma Pen for years and also work as the Australian trainer, so suitability and safe treatment are incredibly important to me.
Not everyone who asks for a Full Eye Lift will be someone I recommend treating.
Consultation first. Treatment second.

Think Plasma Fibroblast is just for eyelids?
👉Think again.
Eyes get a lot of attention when we talk about Plasma Fibroblast, but they’re certainly not the only area I assess.
Depending on the individual and their skin, Plasma Fibroblast can be considered for areas of skin laxity and crepiness on the face and body.
And this is where I think people sometimes misunderstand the treatment.
I’m not trying to treat age.
I’m looking at the actual skin.
Where is the laxity?
How much is there?
What is the skin quality like?
Is Plasma Fibroblast actually the most appropriate treatment for that particular area?
Sometimes the answer is yes ✅
Sometimes one of my Fusion8 treatments makes more sense.
And occasionally I’ll tell you I don’t think either is going to give you the result you’re looking for.
Good treatment starts with knowing when to treat and when not to.
Have an area you’d like me to assess? You’re welcome to send me a photo privately.

Before you consider eyelid surgery…
There may be another option.
Heavy upper lids and loose, crepey skin around the eyes are two of the most common reasons clients ask me about Plasma Fibroblast.
And this is an area I particularly love treating.
Rather than adding volume or changing the shape of your face, Plasma Fibroblast allows me to work very precisely on the skin we’re trying to improve.
Upper eyelids.
Under-eyes.
Crow’s feet.
Or, where appropriate, the full eye area.
But I won’t tell every person who walks through my door that Plasma Fibroblast is right for them.
Your skin type, medical history, degree of laxity and expectations all matter.
A consultation comes first.
Because the goal isn’t to make you look “done”.
It’s for someone to think you look really good without quite knowing why.
Message me EYES if you’d like to talk about your eye area privately.
That small leak when you sneeze is not a personal failing. A sneeze creates a sudden rise in pressure, and the pelvic floor has to respond at just the right moment.
If it is happening regularly, ignoring it rarely makes you feel more confident. The first step is a calm conversation about when it happens, how often and what else you have noticed.
Send us a private message if this sounds familiar. We can explain the pelvic floor chair and help you decide whether further assessment would be the better first step.
