For her birthday, he surprised her with my perfume class. Two hours later, with big, happy smiles on their faces, they both walked out with a perfume they’ve made from scratch.
And, I’m pretty sure, we have a new perfume convert too! 😂

I’ve welcomed perfume lovers from all over Australia this past two weeks. I’ve had guests who traveled from country New South Wales, Melbourne and Queensland. But, Jess and Jen FROM Marrickville left me with reassuring words which I’ll never forget.
I shared with them how nervous I was about moving out of Marrickville to our new studio location in Croydon Park.
“Louella, don’t worry! People will travel to make perfume with YOU!” 😭😭😭
Thank you to all of you who’ve joined me in my first month at our new studio, whether it was in person or online, your support and best wishes make me more brave, more inspired and more ready to take on the next chapter.

Guys, I need your help! 🙏🏽 I’m still paying rent on our old studio until I find someone to takeover the remainder of my lease 😭
I promise you, it’s a very cool spot! Lots of foot traffic, bus stations and the Metro nearby, plus great coffee and amazing sandos right next door! Looking at ya Bertas 😋

The very first refill request at our new studio came with a message that gave me goosebumps🥹
A few years ago, a bride-to-be came to one of our classes with her friends for her hens party. Between the laughter and the little glass bottles, she created her very own signature scent.
Then, she wore it on her wedding day. 💍
This week, she reached out to bottle that feeling again.
That’s what I love most about what we do here. A perfume isn’t just something you wear. It’s a memory you can carry with you, and every time you spritz it, you’re right back in that moment. ✨
