The same facial anatomy, approached in a completely different way.

Reface Therapy is precise and entirely hands-on. No machines. No needles.

Most people don’t realise how much tension they hold through the chest, neck and shoulders.

These areas are all connected and much of the change we see in the face can begin with releasing tension below it. That’s why the treatment may start here before moving upwards.

Sometimes looking tired might have very little to do with how much sleep you’ve had.

The way you hold tension through the jaw, neck, face and even the trapezius can influence how the face appears. So can puffiness, slower fluid movement, circulation and changes in the deeper structures that support the face, including the retaining ligaments.

That’s one of the reasons I love hands-on facial work.

Facial massage allows me to work with more than just the surface of the skin. I can feel how the tissues are moving, where the face feels restricted and how the different layers are responding beneath my hands.

Massage can also temporarily increase local blood flow and support lymphatic movement, which may help the face appear fresher and less heavy.

Sometimes what I notice first isn’t the skin at all.

Sometimes I can feel the exact moment the muscles begin to soften beneath my hands. That’s when I sense the person is beginning to feel safe enough to let go.

In this before and after, you can see less puffiness, a little more definition through the jawline and a more relaxed look overall. This was after one session. Sometimes changes are visible straight away. Other times, the face needs more time and a few sessions.

Every person responds to touch differently and that’s what I find so amazing. It isn’t about forcing the face to change. It’s about listening with my hands and allowing the face to soften in its own time.

Most people who come to me aren’t looking to become someone different.

They want to look more rested, feel less tension and still recognise themselves in the mirror.

That is what I love about hands-on facial therapy. Each treatment is shaped around the face in front of me, while respecting the features that make it uniquely yours.

If a more natural, hands-on approach speaks to you, you’re in the right place.

Facial ageing doesn’t always first appear as a new line or wrinkle. Sometimes we notice the cheeks sitting lower or the jawline feeling less defined. Retaining ligaments help anchor facial tissues, but they are only one part of how the face changes over time.

We often hear about facial muscles and the lymphatic system because they are important parts of how the face functions.

But as I've continued studying facial anatomy, I've realised they are only part of a much bigger picture.

Recently, I've been learning more about the retaining ligaments, and they've become one of the topics I'm most curious about.

The more I learn, the more I realise the face is made up of many different structures working together beneath the surface in ways many of us never think about.

Understanding these connections is one of the reasons I love continuing my education and looking deeper into the face.

One of the things I love most about continuing my education is that it constantly changes the way I see the face.
Learning Reface Therapy reminded me that the face is never just one muscle, one concern or one area.
It’s a beautifully connected system and understanding those connections has completely changed the way I approach treatment.
Every course I take gives me another piece of the puzzle and I’m excited to share more of that journey with you.

One of my favourite moments during a treatment is hearing someone say,

“Sorry… I think I fell asleep.”

I always smile.

Not because they fell asleep, but because it tells me they finally felt safe enough to let go for a little while.

In our busy lives, we’re so used to doing, thinking and holding everything together that deep relaxation can feel unfamiliar.

So if you ever drift off during a treatment, please don’t apologise.

To me, it’s a reminder that you’ve given yourself permission to rest.

And sometimes, that’s exactly what we need.

One of my favourite moments during a treatment isn’t when someone sees their face in the mirror.

It’s when they pause and say,

“I didn’t even realise I was holding that much tension.”

Our bodies are incredibly good at adapting. We can become so accustomed to holding tension that it simply becomes our new normal.

Facial therapy isn’t just about how the face looks. It’s about creating space to notice, soften and reconnect with areas that may have been working harder than they needed to.

Awareness is often the first step.

Sometimes understanding why you’re holding tension is the first step. Experiencing what it feels like to let it go is something entirely different.

Have you ever caught yourself clenching your jaw or holding tension without realising?
