Broken nail repair!
Has your client come back with a broken nail?! Diva it happens! There are soooo many different factors as to why this happens but first off, here’s how we repair a broken nail.
Loz had been away in Hamilton island and couldn’t get an appointment in until after 6 weeks! Yes we are that booked out our own nail techs couldn’t get in😭

No matter how far into your nail career you are, breaks still happen. It doesn’t mean you failed. It doesn’t mean you’re a bad tech. You just need to show your skill on how to fix it. After all nail are NOT indestructible. There is only so much you can do as a Tech

I chose a polygel and form repair for this set few a couple different reasons.
1. we’re using soft gel. BIAB alone on a form is too weak and doesn’t hold
2. Gel x doesn’t give the same look. We wanted to use a builder gel colour. If I was to use gel x, I would then have to put the builder gel over the top of it to get the same colour which then is wayyyy too thick and unnecessary. Yes I could colour match with gel polish but what’s the point of that.
3. Dual forms with hard gel could work? But again we’re working with soft gel already.

Polygel repairs give us the most realistic natural nail look over all so it’s my preferred method!

Give this a go and tell me how you went🕺🏽
