The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) is removing Andrographis paniculata—the key herbal ingredient in ArmaForce and other immune supplements—from the permitted low-risk ingredients list.

While millions use it for immune support and cold relief, the TGA’s updated safety review found a sustained, dangerous link to sudden and unpredictable anaphylaxis (severe allergic reactions), including a fatal case. Because it can happen to anyone—even if you’ve taken it before without issue—the regulator determined that over-the-counter sale is no longer safe.
