This deserves a post of its own

As alot of you know I’m a pretty private person and some of you might not know in the early days of trying to get Baxter started it was looking like it wasn’t going to happen for multiple reasons.

Our beloved friend Carolyn came to the rescue believing in us that we had a great idea and the potential of making something great and helped get Baxter on its feet.

Shortly after we opened she was diagnosed with a brain tumour. She faced it with incredible strength and courage fighting for as long as she could.
At just 47 she passed on to her next chapter.

As we often say, she will be forever young, and always in our hearts and memories

This post is for you Carolyn for your encouragement support and generosity and just being the quirky beautiful woman that you were and always in our thoughts 💜

End of an era 🤍

After 10 incredible years I’m excited to share that Baxter Melbourne is now under new ownership and will be rebranding as Jet Salon Collective as of today.

I just want to take a moment to say the biggest thank you to everyone who made Baxter what it became. I’ve been so lucky to work alongside some seriously talented people over the years many of whom I now get to call great friends. And to all of our amazing clients you’ve been the heart of it all. Your support, loyalty and encouragement has meant more than I could ever put into words.

A very special thank you to my partner Fabrice for backing my dream from day one and for all the hard work you’ve put in behind the scenes to help make this what it became. So much of this wouldn’t have been possible without you 🤍

While it’s bittersweet to close this chapter, I’m so excited for what’s ahead. And don’t worry our incredible current stylists will still be there at Jet Salon Collective so you can continue seeing your favourite people just under a new name. Please give them lots of love and a follow as they start this new chapter✨

As a lot of you may know, after 10 amazing years of hairdressing in Melbourne, I’m excited to share that I’ll be relocating to Brisbane!

As most of you know our fabulous Ev is off to make a sea change and move to Greece 🇬🇷! Super exciting, but also a little sad because her last day with us will be Saturday, May 24th, when she sails off into the sunset.
She’s got a few appointments left before she leaves, so if you want one last amazing style before she becomes a Greek goddess, slide into Baxter’s DMs or hit up Ev’s influencer page to grab your spot 💁🏽‍♀️.
