Why we sometimes treat vessels before we treat pigment at all.

Not all pigmentation behaves the same way.

Some of it sits on the surface — sun damage, old marks, the stuff that responds well to brightening and IPL straight away.

But some pigmentation has a blood supply feeding it. Vascular activity underneath is literally driving the pigment production above it. Treat the pigment alone and you’re managing the symptom, not the cause — which is exactly why it keeps resurfacing no matter how good your skincare is.
