If you’ve followed me for a while, you’ve probably heard me talk about NRF2.

But what does it actually do?

Every day, the body is exposed to oxidative stress through normal metabolism, exercise, environmental exposure, poor sleep and psychological stress.

Oxidative stress isn’t inherently “bad”. It becomes a concern when the cellular load exceeds the body’s ability to respond and recover.

NRF2 is one of the body’s important cellular defence pathways.

Think of it as a coordinator that helps switch on genes involved in producing the body’s own protective and detoxification enzymes.

This matters as we age because our natural cellular defence and repair capacity may become less efficient.
Hormonal changes can add another layer to this changing biological environment.

Supporting cellular defence doesn’t necessarily create a sudden burst of energy.

For me, it is more about how resilient I feel:

• recovering well after exercise
• maintaining steadier energy
• feeling less depleted by a demanding week
• supporting my skin from within
• continuing to do the things I love at 60

NRF2 is not a miracle switch—and one supplement can never replace sleep, nourishment, movement or stress regulation.

It is one part of the whole longevity picture.

One of my top 10 “not negotiables”

Hormones aren’t the only rhythms that change in midlife.

Our circadian rhythm—the internal clock influencing sleep, energy, hormones, appetite, temperature and mental alertness—can also become more vulnerable to disruption.

That’s one reason a late night, irregular sleep or too little daylight can feel so much harder to recover from than it once did.

One of the simplest things I do at 60 is seek natural outdoor light early in the day.

Morning light helps tell my brain:

☀️ It’s time to be alert
☀️ Set today’s internal clock
☀️ Begin the countdown towards sleep tonight

When this rhythm is well supported, I notice:

• clearer morning energy
• better focus through the day
• less of that tired-but-wired feeling at night
• more predictable sleep and recovery

It isn’t glamorous—and it certainly isn’t a quick fix.

But ageing well is often built through the signals we give the body consistently.

Tomorrow, I’m going deeper into NRF2 and why cellular defence becomes increasingly important as we age.

Do you intentionally get outside in the morning?

Here’s what I focus on:
I’m much more interested in supporting my body to age well — from the cellular level out.

Here are 10 things I consistently do:

☀️ 1. Morning light
To support my circadian rhythm, sleep and energy.

🧬 2. Support NRF2
I use Protandim NRF2 to activate the body’s own antioxidant defence pathways and help protect cells from oxidative stress — one of the processes involved in skin and cellular ageing.

⚡ 3. Support my mitochondria
I use Protandim NRF1 to support mitochondrial health and cellular energy. Because every cell — including our skin cells — needs energy to function, renew and repair.

✨ 4. Support my sirtuins
Rather than only focusing on NAD+, I use SRT to support sirtuin activity — cellular pathways involved in energy regulation, stress response and healthy ageing.

🥩 5. Prioritise protein
Especially post-menopause. Muscle is one of our greatest longevity assets.

🏋🏼‍♀️ 6. Keep moving + stay strong
I run, walk, strength train and regularly challenge what my body can do.

🌿 7. Regulate my nervous system
Nature, breathing, quiet, recovery and learning when not to push.

💧 8. Treat my skin as a living organ
Collagen support, intelligent skincare, SPF and regenerative treatments — inside and out.

🌙 9. Protect my sleep
Because restoration is part of longevity too.

❤️ 10. Work on gut health - fibre, variety, probiotic support

This one might be the most important. The gut-brain axis is vital for health

At 60, I want strength. Energy. Healthy skin. A clear mind. Adventure. Purpose. And a body that allows me to keep saying YES to life.

There’s no single anti-ageing secret.

It’s what we do consistently that changes how we age.

Which of these are already part of your routine? ↓

Your best years are not determined by your age.

They are shaped by the capacity you build for the years ahead.

The global conversation is moving away from trying to stop ageing and toward helping people remain strong, clear, independent and well.

This is the heart of The Midlife Reset™.

Because after 40, doing more of what used to work often isn’t the answer.

Your hormones are changing.

Your nervous system may be carrying years of pressure.

Your sleep, energy, skin, mood and metabolism may be communicating that your body needs a new approach.

This is not the beginning of your decline.

It may be the moment your body asks you to stop overriding its signals and begin working with its wisdom.

The Midlife Reset™ helps you:

• Understand what your symptoms are communicating
• Recalibrate your nervous system and foundations
• Realign your daily rhythms with your current biology
• Rebuild trust in your body
• Integrate a more energised, radiant way of living

You are not here simply to add more years to your life.

You are here to bring more life, meaning and possibility into those years.

If you’re ready to feel clear, energised and back in control, message me the word RADIANCE.

Your next chapter doesn’t need to look younger.

It needs to feel like you.

Your wellbeing is shaped by more than what you eat and how often you exercise.

It is also influenced by the spaces in which you live.

The latest longevity trends recognise access to nature, walkability, natural light, acoustics and thoughtful home design as contributors to healthspan.

This makes intuitive sense.

Your nervous system is continually reading your environment and asking:

Am I safe here?

Can I soften?

Can I recover?

A loud, cluttered, overstimulating environment may keep the body alert long after the immediate stress has passed.

A quiet walk, warm lighting, fresh air, greenery or a bedroom prepared for rest can send a very different message.

This is not about creating a perfect home or escaping into the countryside.

It is about making small, intentional choices that help your body return to regulation.

Open the curtains in the morning.

Walk somewhere green.

Dim the lights at night.

Create one corner that feels calm.

Let your home become part of your self-care rather than another source of demand.

Your environment doesn’t need to be luxurious to support longevity.

It needs to help your body remember how safety feels.

What is one small change that would make your space feel more restorative?

Your sense of purpose may be as important to healthy ageing as the habits in your morning routine.

One of the defining 2026 longevity trends is the growing recognition that meaning, mentorship and contribution support wellbeing.

This matters deeply for women in midlife.

Because this season can bring enormous change:

Children need us differently.
Relationships evolve.
Careers shift.
Our bodies ask for a new rhythm.
And the identities we have carried for years may no longer fit.

That can feel unsettling—but it can also be an invitation.

Midlife asks us to consider:

What matters to me now?

What wisdom am I ready to share?

Where have I been giving my energy away?

What would I create if I trusted that my best contribution was still ahead of me?

Longevity is not simply about adding years to your life.

It is about having a reason to remain engaged with those years.

Your purpose doesn’t have to be grand or public. It might be creating, mentoring, leading, loving, learning or becoming a steadier presence in your own life.

You are not becoming less relevant.

You are entering the years when your lived wisdom can become your greatest influence.

What feels meaningful to you in this season?

Skin ageing is not a flaw to correct.

It is a biological process we can learn to support more intelligently.

One of the most encouraging shifts in aesthetic wellness is the movement toward:

• Less-invasive treatments
• Tissue regeneration
• Barrier restoration
• Collagen support
• Long-term structural improvement

This is skin longevity.

It moves us away from repeatedly chasing the surface and asks a better question:

What does this skin need to function well?

After 40, hormonal change can affect collagen, hydration, repair, pigmentation, circulation and the resilience of the skin barrier.

Stress and poor sleep may also become visible in the skin because the face does not exist separately from the nervous system or the rest of the body.

That is why my approach combines regenerative skin treatments with whole-person support.

We can care about how we look without fearing age.

We can soften, strengthen and regenerate the skin without trying to erase the woman who has lived within it.

The goal is not an expressionless version of youth.

It is healthy, responsive skin—and a woman who feels radiant in it.

Have your skin treatments evolved with your changing biology?

Brain fog is not a sign that you are becoming less capable.

Your brain may simply need a different kind of support.

Cognitive health is becoming one of the central pillars of longevity—and it is particularly relevant for women moving through perimenopause and menopause.

As hormones fluctuate and eventually decline, many women notice changes in:

• Focus
• Memory
• Word recall
• Sleep
• Stress tolerance
• Mental stamina

But proactive brain health is about far more than doing a daily crossword.

It includes quality sleep, movement, learning, creativity, meaningful relationships and helping the nervous system move out of persistent survival mode.

Your brain is responsive. It continues to adapt, learn and create new pathways throughout life.

This is why I don’t believe women should be told to simply accept feeling scattered, disconnected or mentally exhausted.

Your symptoms deserve to be understood—not dismissed.

With the right foundations, midlife can become a time of greater discernment, creativity and clarity.

Your brain isn’t finished.

It may be preparing you to think, lead and live in an entirely new way.

Save this for the next time you mistake a changing brain for a failing one.

The new midlife status symbol isn’t looking 30.

It is having the capacity to live the life you want.

The 2026 trend data shows that adults over 50 are increasingly prioritising:

• Strength
• Mobility
• Balance
• Cognitive clarity
• Independence

This is functional longevity—and it changes the conversation.

Because your greatest measure of wellbeing may not be the number on the scales or the number of lines on your face.

It may be:

Can I trust my body?

Can I walk, run, travel and explore?

Can I recover from stress?

Can I think clearly and make confident decisions?

Do I have the energy to participate fully in my life?

These are the questions that matter inside The Midlife Reset™.

We are not chasing perfection. We are rebuilding capacity—by supporting the nervous system, recognising the body’s patterns and creating rhythms that work with your changing biology.

Midlife is not the moment to ask your body to become smaller.

It is the moment to help your life become bigger.

What would feeling truly capable allow you to do next?
