Perhaps your body doesn’t need fixing. Perhaps it needs to feel safe again. Have you heard that a lot lately?

But what does that mean?

Lately I have been hearing a lot from women in menopause that say they have a libido problem…

I think many have a nervous system that’s forgotten how to feel safe.

We often think libido is simply about hormones.

Hormones absolutely matter.

But desire also requires safety.

If you’ve spent years rushing, caring for everyone else, pushing through exhaustion and living with chronic stress, your body becomes incredibly good at SURVIVING

Survival and sensuality don’t happen at the same time.

The question isn’t ‘How do I get my libido back?’

The question is…

What would help my body feel safe enough to soften again?”

This is what it means to figure out how to re-learn who you forgot you were BEFORE you started rushing & THAT is what is means when you hear - “you are not broken”

If this resonates - share it with someone who needs to hear this today ☺️

Winter changes everything for the skin.

Reduced circulation.

Dryer air.

Barrier disruption.

Increased dehydration.

Slower repair processes.

Which makes winter one of the most important seasons to actively support skin regeneration.

This month I’m focusing heavily on helping clients rebuild stronger, healthier skin through treatments that work with the skin rather than simply treating surface concerns.

Including:

✨ Oxygen Infusion Therapy

✨ Exosome Regeneration Treatments

✨ PDRN Skin Recovery Treatments

✨ Barrier repair and deep hydration protocols

And for End Of Financial Year I currently have access to 25% off selected Intraceuticals homecare products available in clinic.

If your skin has been asking for support, this is a beautiful time to begin.

Healthy skin is not created by chance.

It is built through consistency.

Text me directly if you would like me to check product availability.

I’ve been building something bigger!

For many years I believed I was helping women with skin.

And I still love that work deeply.

But over time I’ve realised something important.

Women rarely come to me ONLY because of their skin.

Often what sits underneath is much bigger.

Exhaustion.

Hormonal shifts.

Stress.

Loss of confidence.

Feeling disconnected from themselves.

Wondering why their body no longer feels familiar.

And quietly asking:

“What is happening to me?”

Over the last year I have been building something that brings together everything I have learned across health, longevity, skin, nervous system regulation and women’s wellbeing.

A space for women who know they are entering a new season of life and want support navigating it differently.

Not simply surviving menopause.

But learning how to feel powerful, resilient and deeply connected to themselves again.

I’ll be opening a small group for this very soon.

And I’m incredibly excited about what it is becoming.

More to come soon.

We rarely hesitate to invest in the things we believe hold value.

Our homes.

Our holidays.

Our businesses.

Our children.

Yet so many women hesitate when it comes to investing in themselves.

Their health.

Their nervous system.

Their skin.

Their recovery.

Their future wellbeing.

The truth is this.

Longevity is not an accident.

Feeling vibrant, strong and healthy at 50, 60 and beyond is built through small consistent decisions made over time.

Sometimes the greatest act of self-respect is deciding:

I matter enough to prioritise my wellbeing now.

Not when something breaks.

Not when exhaustion forces me to stop.

Now.

As we approach end of financial year, perhaps ask yourself:

Where am I investing in the future version of me?

Because the body you live in five years from now is being built by the choices you make today.

I have a few beautiful EOFY offers on this week for women ready to invest in their health, skin & longevity

Comment YES if you’d like to see what they are

Why Nervous System Regulation Changes Everything In Midlife

Many women tell me they feel tired but wired.

Overwhelmed.

Anxious.

Unable to switch off.

Emotionally reactive.

What many do not realise is that this often begins with the nervous system.

As we move through perimenopause and beyond, hormonal shifts can make the nervous system far more sensitive to stress.

When we remain stuck in fight-or-flight for extended periods, the body prioritises survival over repair.

Which may contribute to:

Poor sleep.

Reduced resilience.

Anxiety.

Increased inflammation.

Slower recovery.

Lower energy.

Reduced immune resilience.

This is why nervous system regulation is not simply another wellness trend.

It is one of the foundations of healthy longevity.

When the nervous system feels safe, the body can finally shift its energy toward healing and repair.

And often that changes everything.

😍 if this makes sense & resonates

There felt something beautifully symbolic about today.

Winter Solstice.

The shortest day of the year.

A season that reminds us nature isn’t always asking us to push harder… but to slow down, restore and prepare quietly for what comes next.

And somehow, today also felt like the perfect day to head out and tackle 28kms on the trails with great friends.

There’s something I’ve learned over the years.

Doing hard things becomes a whole lot easier when you surround yourself with good people.

The laughter helps.

The conversations distract you when the legs are tired.

And somehow you find yourself going further than you thought you could.

I often think life is a bit like that too.

We aren’t meant to do everything alone.

What I loved most about today though was the feeling.

Quiet.

Calm.

Grounded.

Powerful.

That kind of energy winter brings when we stop resisting it and allow ourselves to move with the season instead of against it.

At nearly 60, I find myself thinking more and more about what healthy ageing really means.

For me, it isn’t about chasing youth.

It’s about staying connected to the things that make you feel strong.

Capable.

Resilient.

Alive.

Today was one of those reminders.

And honestly… I think women have been taught to think about ageing all wrong.

Come follow along if this conversation speaks to you.

I believe women have been taught to think about health completely backwards.

We wait until something goes wrong.

Until energy disappears.

Until hormones feel chaotic.

Until the skin suddenly changes.

Until the weight gain becomes frustrating.

Until sleep becomes broken.

Until anxiety begins feeling normal.

And only then do we begin asking:

“What should I do now?”

But what if we’ve been asking the wrong question entirely?

After spending more than 30 years working in skin health, wellness and healthy ageing, I have become deeply interested in something much bigger.

Why do we spend so much time reacting to symptoms… but so little time understanding how the body actually stays resilient in the first place?

I believe the future of health is changing.

The conversation is no longer simply about treating symptoms.

It is about understanding how the body repairs.

How cells communicate.

How energy is produced.

How the nervous system regulates stress.

How the body adapts as we age.

How we create biological resilience long before dysfunction begins.

I don’t believe ageing is the problem.

I believe we have simply been having the wrong conversation around ageing.

What if midlife wasn’t decline?

What if it was an invitation?

An opportunity to recalibrate.

To regenerate.

To reinvent who we are becoming.

To create health intentionally rather than waiting for the body to force change.

I think the women who thrive in the decades ahead will not be the women searching for quick fixes.

They will be the women who learn how to work with their biology instead of fighting against it.

And I think this conversation matters now more than ever.

I’d love to know…

Have we been taught to think about health all wrong?

I’m seeing something very common in clinic right now.

Women telling me:

“My skin suddenly feels dry.”

“My products don’t seem to be working.”

“My skin looks tired and dull.”

And the reason is simple.

Winter changes how the skin functions.

As temperatures drop, we often experience:

• Reduced circulation

• Slower skin repair processes

• Increased transepidermal water loss

• Weakened skin barrier function

• Increased dehydration

• Greater sensitivity and irritation

This is why winter is not the season to neglect your skin.

It is the season to support regeneration.

I often remind clients:

Healthy skin isn’t created when everything feels easy.

It is built through consistency during the seasons that challenge it most.

This is exactly why I am loving regenerative treatments like Exosomes and PDRN right now.

Not because they simply hydrate.

But because they support the skin’s own repair and communication systems.

This is where skin longevity is heading.

Not correction.

Regeneration.

Today’s New Moon feels like a beautiful reminder that clarity doesn’t come from doing more.

It comes from creating enough stillness to hear yourself again.

So many women in midlife feel like they have a thousand thoughts running through their minds.

Big ideas.

Big responsibilities.

Big questions about what comes next.

Yet the answer is rarely found in more action.

Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is simplify.

Choose one thing.

One new habit.

One small commitment.

One decision that moves us closer to the woman we know we are becoming.

Nature never rushes transformation.

And neither should we.

Perhaps this New Moon is not asking you to overhaul your life.

Perhaps it is simply asking:

“What is one small step I am finally ready to commit to?”

Quiet transformation is still transformation.

And often it lasts the longest.
