Over the years, we’ve watched some of our favourite luxury makeup items go up in price… some by A LOT! 😳

And as makeup artists, it’s rare that we only need one of something. We need 10, 15 or even more shades in our kits!

So where to from here?!?

This is where more affordable makeup brands come into play. They’re seriously stepping up their game, delivering some incredible cosmetics, and we’re loving them! 🙌

I believe there’s a time and place for luxury makeup in our kits, but there’s always room for more affordable brands too.

Especially when it comes to items we go through regularly, like eye pencils, lip liners and mascaras.

For me, it’s never been about the price tag. It’s about PERFORMANCE!

If the pigment is incredible, it blends like a dream and does exactly what it claims to do, then it deserves a place in my kit.

Whether it costs $10 or $100, does it actually matter? Because sometimes affordable makeup actually outperforms luxury makeup.
