Lately, I’ve been reflecting on what I want every woman to feel when she walks through my studio door.

Calm.

Looked after.

Confident.

Beautiful hair is part of that, of course. But I believe the experience should feel just as effortless as the result.

Over the coming weeks, I’ll be sharing a few thoughtful changes I’m making behind the scenes at Salon Indarra.

The last time I saw Shannon was September last year before she moved away for work.

Today was the beginning of a really big blonde reset ahead of her sister’s wedding later this year and honestly, the transformation by the end of the session felt incredible.

Six hours.
Over 200 foils.
Seven and a half bowls of lightener.
And a completely bespoke toner formulation created specifically for her hair and the result we were trying to achieve.

The goal was brighter.
But softer at the same time.
More seamless.
More expensive looking.
And a blonde that finally felt balanced again from root to end.

Corrective blonding like this takes patience, strategy and knowing how far to push while still protecting the integrity of the hair.

A massive first session and such a beautiful shift already.
