Can you believe this is her very first colour?! I didn’t exactly ease her into it 😉

The brief was lighter and brighter, but still soft, dimensional and beautifully natural- not “one flat block of bleach blonde”

A few hours (+ some more), a halo of foils, balayage, tip-outs and a custom beige-honey gloss toner.. and this is where we landed 😍

Keeping enough natural depth is what makes those blonde ribbons pop and gives the whole look a polished yet lived-in finish.

First time colouring hair.. she went straight to vivid violets!

Starting with a halo of pre-lightened foils for the perfect base, we chose a subtle violet/lilac ombré.. low maintenance high impact.. much like me really 🤣

First colours don’t need to be subtle, they just need to feel like you xx

Introducing Warm-Up Visits: a booked appointment at the salon with no haircut on the day. For kids who find haircuts hard, whether that’s anxiety, sensory overwhelm, or a tough past visit.

We go at your child’s pace, reading body cues, role playing, playing, and building small moments of safety, so the salon (and I) feel like a safe space. That might mean meeting the salon pets, holding the tools, trying on the cape, or just sitting in the chair. It might look quiet from the outside, but it’s what makes a calm, confident haircut possible later.

Some kids need a few visits before the scissors come out, and that’s completely normal. It’s never a failed appointment, it’s progress.

Even when no hair is cut, a lot of time and care goes into each session, which is why it’s a bookable service:
⏱ Warm-Up Visit: 30 mins, $40
⏱ Warm-Up Visit (Long): 1 hour, $65
Once your child is ready for their haircut, standard pricing applies.
