Wait… K-Tips can be REUSED?! 👀

Yep — and you might not need to purchase a brand new set every time your K-Tips grow out.

If the extension hair itself is still in great condition, the old keratin can be removed and each individual strand can be rebonded with fresh keratin and reinstalled for another wear. 🤍

So why isn’t this always offered?

Rebonding is incredibly labour intensive. Every single strand needs to be individually prepared and handcrafted again, and not every salon offers or specialises in this service.

And here’s the part we think is important: rebonding isn’t always the cheapest option either.

For some more affordable extension hair, the labour involved in rebonding + reinstalling can actually cost more than purchasing new hair. For higher-quality hair with plenty of life left, rebonding can make much more sense.

At VEIL, we’ll give you both options and help you decide what is actually worth doing.

And yes — we can rebond K-Tips from other salons too, provided the hair is still in suitable condition.
