WHY ARE 2-WEEK REVIEWS & TOP-UPS IMPORTANT?
A 2-week review is an important part of your cosmetic treatment journey.
Everyone responds to treatment differently, which is why I allow time for the treatment to take effect before assessing the result.
At your 2-week review, I assess how each treated area has responded and determine whether any further treatment is appropriate.
A top-up simply means I am reviewing your individual response and making any adjustments that may be required.
This approach allows me to:
• Assess your response to treatment
• Review each treated area individually
• Check for any remaining movement or asymmetry
• Determine whether further treatment is appropriate
• Keep additional treatment to what is required
• Prioritise safety throughout the treatment process
Your 2-week review is not about getting more treatment for the sake of it. It is about allowing me to assess your response and make informed decisions about any further treatment required.

UNDERSTANDING YOUR TREATMENT TIMELINE ✨
This is a completely normal result at 8 weeks post treatment.
When a neuromodulator is used to relax the muscles, the results don’t happen all at once - there is a gradual timeline.
💉 TREATMENT - DAY 0
The medication is administered into the targeted muscles.
✨ DAYS 2–7
The effect begins to develop as the muscles gradually become more relaxed.
📈 AROUND 2 WEEKS
Results are generally well established, with reduced muscle movement and a smoother appearance.
⭐ WEEKS 2–6 PEAK EFFECT
The treatment is working at its strongest, providing the greatest reduction in muscle activity.
↩️ AROUND 6–8+ WEEKS
Muscle movement will gradually begin to return as the effect naturally starts to wear off. This is exactly what we are seeing here at 8 weeks.
