Essence of Australia, natural bath & body products Lady Myrtle was created to share with you my love of Australian native scents.
Our country has the most amazing, unique native essential oils which I have handcrafted into beautiful soaps which will whisk you away with every smell. I have been creating with Australian native essential oils over the past few years. During covid lockdowns, the smells from these oils provided me with a mindfulness escape, transporting me to places where my mind would be free & one with nature. To me that is healing, that is peace. Incorporating all this plus skin loving clays & natural colourants in my soaps; provides the user a moment of mindful freedom with each use.

A few things I’ve learnt so far
1.Wear an apron! Soap making is a messy business.
2. Weigh essential oils in separate cups. 3 oils, 3 cups
3. Triple check the recipe (don’t leave an essential oil on the bench. )😬

The rumours are true! Meet the new soap making queen, Rachel Warby Wood
Lady Myrtle was a dream, an amazing chapter of my life where I was able to share my love for Aussie native botanicals & bush food through natural, self care products.
However, for me, LM was a hobby that had grown beyond what I could manage. My passion is in finance & the not-for-profit sector. Landing my dream job with Thamarrurr Youth & gaining my BAS Agent registration, something needed to change before I burnt out.
I wasn't going to hand the LM crown over to anyone. The new owner needed to share the same love for Aussie scents & creative flair. I know Rachel through her local business Warby Wood. Rachel is extremely passionate, driven & already loves using LM products before we discussed the sale.
While this is a chapter ending for me, LM continues to live on, just the same, through Rachel.
Thank you to each & everyone who believed in my products, who has followed & supported me through my journey with LM.
