Two words that sound like they cancel each other out.
There is no needle involved at any point. The spicules come off a freshwater sponge, they are microscopic, and they settle into the very top layer of the skin.
What happens next is entirely your own doing. Your skin registers them and gets on with turning itself over faster than it had planned to. We have not resurfaced anything. We have handed your skin a nudge and it has done the rest.
It suits reactive skin, it suits pigmentation, and it suits deeper skin tones, which is not true of every resurfacing option out there. There is real downtime attached and we would rather you heard that from us first.
Results build over a series and they differ in everybody.

From this week, Re-Dox Skin Lab is on our shelf.
It’s made in Sydney by Dr Belal Chami PhD, a redox biologist. His field asks a question most skincare skips. Not how many antioxidants. Which ones, at what dose, and when.
The routine is two steps. One serum in the morning and one gel at night, each boosted for what your skin is doing right now ✨
A routine you can keep up is the one that works for you. That’s why it stays short.
Australian-made, for Australian UV. Not tested on animals.
We’ll help you choose your two at your next appointment, or ask at reception when you’re in.
DM us to chat about what suits your skin 💕
Microwave, not radiofrequency. Coolwaves, at 2.45 gigahertz ✨
Worth knowing what you are actually being treated with, wherever you go for it.
Better you hear the downtime from me than discover it on a Friday ✨
Ask us to plan it backwards from whatever you are getting ready for.

The word does a lot of damage.
Nothing is being taken off you. Your skin swaps its own surface over on a cycle, all by itself, and it has been doing that your whole life without asking your permission. What changes with age is the speed of it.
So the old layer sits about longer than it did at twenty-five, and a good deal of what people call dull is exactly that. Old surface, hanging about past its turn.
A peel brings that changeover forward, under control. It runs as a series rather than a single appointment, results build over that series, and they differ from one person to the next.
Which one suits your skin is a conversation, not a menu choice.
It worked for a year and then it stopped. Nothing in the bottle changed ✨
Bring the whole routine to your next appointment. Every bottle, including the ones you have given up on.

As October and Menopause Awareness Month come into view, a word on something that gets far too little airtime: what menopause does to skin and hair.
As oestrogen falls, skin changes on a real timeline. Collagen drops more steeply in the years around menopause than at any other time, so skin can lose firmness and look thinner. It holds less water, so dryness and a loss of plumpness creep in. And many notice hair thinning at the part or temples, and sometimes more breakouts as the hormonal balance shifts.
None of this is a personal failing or something to quietly put up with. It is biology, and it responds to the right care: gentler, barrier-supportive skincare, and treatments that support collagen rather than strip the skin 🌿
If this is the change nobody warned you about, you are in very large company. Tell us what you wish somebody had said.

If you clench your jaw or spend your days at a screen, your face is holding more than you think.
Buccal Sculpt & Release is a hands-on treatment in two halves. The first works externally through the cheeks, jaw, neck and decolletage. The second is done from inside the mouth, which is how the deeper muscles of the cheek and jaw get reached at all.
People most often notice three things afterwards: a jaw that feels looser, a face that looks less puffy, and a temporary lift and glow.
It is manual therapy. No needles, no devices, nothing injected.
Would you try the inside-the-mouth part? Honest answers below 💕

What actually happens when we read your skin? More than a glance, and more than most people expect.
We look at the surface, tone, texture, pigment, congestion, the things you can see in a mirror.
We look underneath, at firmness, hydration and how the skin is behaving, the things you feel more than see.
We ask about your history and your routine, because what you already use, and how your skin has reacted before, tells us as much as the skin itself 🌿
Only then does a plan get discussed, built around what your skin is actually asking for rather than a standard list.
What would you want us to look at first? Tell us below.

A thread lift is not a facelift. Dr Maria on the difference, and why it matters.
Threads are placed under the skin to lift and support tissue. The effect is real, and it is temporary. Nothing is removed. Bone is not changed. It will not do what surgery does, and any clinic suggesting otherwise is doing you a disservice.
What it can do is lift the tissue, and with some threads, give your own collagen a stimulus to work with.
Whether it suits you depends on your face, your tissue and what you are actually hoping for. That is an assessment, not a menu choice, which is why this one starts with a consultation and a proper look, every time.
Individual results may vary.
