Do you have small red moles or freckles on your body or face? Ever wondered what they are and if they are treatable?

Cherry angiomas are small, benign skin growths made up of blood vessels. They often appear as bright red, purple, blue or black bumps on the skin, resembling cherries and are completely harmless.

The exact cause of cherry angiomas is still unclear, but they are thought to be primarily caused by genetic factors and aging. Other potential factors include exposure to certain chemicals, pregnancy, hormonal changes, and exposure to sunlight or ultraviolet radiation. While they can appear at any age, they are more common in individuals over 30 years old.

Cherry angiomas can appear anywhere on the body, but they are most commonly found on the trunk (chest and back), arms, legs, and face. They can vary in size from a pinpoint to about a quarter of an inch in diameter.

They can be quickly and easily treated using IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) treatment. It is commonly used to target and reduce the appearance of cherry angiomas by delivering pulses of light energy to the affected area, causing the blood vessels within the angioma to coagulate and shrink. It's a non-invasive procedure with minimal downtime, making it a popular choice for cosmetic removal.

Are cherry angiomas causing you discomfort? Book a consultation through the link in our bio to discuss removal options and regain confidence in your skin.

If your growth changes colour, is itchy, bleeds or has any other concerning behaviours please consult a health care practitioner before assuming it is a Cherry Angioma.

Red light LED therapy has gained popularity for its potential health and skincare benefits. Here's why it's generating hype:

1. **Skin Benefits:** Red light therapy is believed to stimulate collagen production, reduce inflammation, and improve overall skin tone and texture. It's used for anti-aging purposes, acne treatment, and to reduce the appearance of scars and wrinkles.

2. **Pain Relief:** Studies suggest that red light therapy can help reduce pain and inflammation, making it a popular choice for athletes, individuals with chronic pain conditions, and those recovering from injuries.

3. **Hair Growth:** Some research indicates that red light therapy may promote hair growth by stimulating hair follicles, making it a promising treatment for hair loss and thinning hair.

4. **Wound Healing:** Red light therapy has been shown to enhance the body's natural healing processes, speeding up wound healing and reducing the risk of infection.

5. **Non-Invasive:** One of the biggest draws of red light therapy is that it's non-invasive and painless. It involves exposing the skin to low levels of red or near-infrared light, which is considered safe for most people.

Come in and try Red Light Therapy for yourself....
