So after my videos of my Post Microneedling redness I had a lot of clients ask just HOW long I was that red forโฆ. Well here are some photos to show you after 1 hour, 6 hours and then the next day.
As you can see it calms down pretty quickly and the next day I have very minimal redness left.
Also if you do have any redness the next day you are able to wear makeup if you feel the need.
I personally LOVE doing Microneedling on my skin as it gives a powerful skin rejuvenation to improve the appearance of lines, wrinkles and scarring and boost the overall skin health and stage skins ability to absorb all the topical skin care you use at homeโฆ. ๐ฅPOST SKIN MICRONEEDLING REDNESS ๐ฅ- this is the question everyone asks about in relation to skin Microneedling.
This is me straight after a skin Microneedling session, yep Iโm red- but we want that!! This means we have created the micro wounds in the skin that will initiate the skins natural collagen production and healing.
This gives a powerful skin rejuvenation to improve the appearance of lines, wrinkles and scarring and boost the overall skin health and stage skins ability to absorb all the topical skin care you use at home.
Winter is the BEST time for Skin Microneedling as we need to avoid the heat for 48hrs after this treatment ( so not gym/ runs etc) and direct sunlight for 2 weeks ( wear that hat!)
So HOW long does this redness last?? Around 95% of this redness is fine the next day. So you can definitely go to work etc but the main thing is to not get hot/ or be out in direct sunlight.
