This week, we’re getting to know Sharna, our Volunteer Coordinator & Receptionist, who has been part of Meals on Wheels for 5 years. 💙

Oxtail, seafood & chocolate — not necessarily in that order!

😊 Something that makes you smile?
Making memories with my boy, family and friends. Good hugs and the beach always make me smile too.

💛 What do you enjoy most about your role?
Working with a smaller, local organisation and being able to help others. It feels incredibly rewarding to make a difference in our community.

🎨 What do you enjoy outside of work?
I love painting, travelling, DIY, music and dancing — I like keeping busy and being creative!

Flamboyant, outspoken, thoughtful, giving and empathetic. I’m a deep thinker with an intuitive nature — passionate about people and never afraid to be myself.

✈️ Something clients might be surprised to know about me?
I’ve travelled to some amazing places, including New Zealand, Vanuatu and the surrounding islands, Singapore, Dubai, West Africa and Bali.

We love having Sharna as one of the friendly faces and voices that help make our Meals on Wheels community what it is. 💙
