Avani is an Australian company selling tapes, wefts and clip-in’s direct to the public & wholesale. For the love of hair….choose Avani. All of our hair is 22 inches in length. The hair is double drawn meaning it is thick from root to tip and the last 2 inches are deliberately tapered to help give a natural layered look when installed. All AVANI hair is guaranteed Remy and has the cuticle intact. This is vitally important as many extensions are made from hair that has had the cuticle chemically removed or the cuticle goes in opposite directions causing knotting. This hair is inferior and is often unethically sourced & is then covered in a silicone coating to make it super shiny. This initially fools many into thinking it’s high quality hair, but after 4-8 washes the silicon washes off and the true integrity of the hair shows. It commonly knots up into a birdsnest, needs constant brushing and snaps & splits easily. It is important to keep the cuticle intact as the cuticle protects the hair shaft from heat, chemical products and dry damaging environments. The intact cuticle prevents the hair from breaking and splitting with daily styling & environmental influences. Cuticle intact hair is not as shiny as hair with the cuticle removed, as it is not coated in silicone but it is more natural looking and a more realistic texture helping it blend better with your own hair.
