COLOUR CRAFT CORRECTION ♥️

For this colour correction, my goal was to create a soft ombré effect, introducing more depth through the root area while creating a seamless transition into the lighter lengths and ends.

Starting point:
Natural depth — Level 7
Underlying pigment — Orange/Yellow
Existing colour — Natural regrowth with artificially lightened mids and ends ranging from levels 8–10
Grey — None
Texture — Fine/Medium
Porosity — Excellent through the roots and good through the mids and ends

Target:
Roots — Level 5 with a /1 reflect
Lengths & ends — Level 6 with a /97 reflect

Technique:
4-quadrant sectioning with a root application, followed by zone toning through the lengths and ends.

Formula:
Roots — Colour Touch equal parts 5/0 + 5/1 with 1.9%

Lengths & ends — Colour Touch
20g 6/0
10g 5/97
10g 7/97
5g 7/3
5g 5/4

* 1.9%

Second application:
Shinefinity 6/07 + 7/81 applied at the basin to refine the tone and enhance the final result.

Home care:
Ultimate Color Shampoo + Conditioner

The finished result created a soft, dimensional ombré with added depth at the root, while maintaining lightness and creating a seamless transition through the lengths and ends. 🤎
