You’ll also have the chance to ask questions, get personalised tips and learn in a relaxed, friendly environment where there’s no pressure to be a makeup expert.

I’m so excited to finally introduce you to Büchner Haus Academy of Makeup and Beauty. 🤎

This has been a dream of mine for a long time, and after more than 15 years working as a makeup artist and educator, it feels incredibly special to finally bring it to life.

Büchner Haus is our new makeup education home, with our flagship Academy based in Noosa and training available both in person and online.

We’ve created it for people who want to turn their love of makeup into something more, whether that means starting a career, developing existing skills or simply continuing to grow as an artist.

Our education pathways include:

• Professional Makeup Artistry Program – a six-month, in-person program at our Noosa Academy
• Makeup, Lash & Brow Artistry Course – flexible online learning combined with a five-day hands-on intensive
• Short Courses & One-Day Masterclasses – practical training and specialist education with some incredible artists and industry professionals

Every cohort is kept small, with a maximum of just 10 students, because I want our students to receive genuine hands-on guidance, detailed feedback and the opportunity to really develop their own artistry.

We’ll be teaching so much more than makeup application too. Skin, technique, portfolio development, client care, business, pricing and understanding how to work within the real beauty industry are all part of what we’re building.

Between masterclasses, beautiful venues, a quick trip to the circus and my final week at Huxley, I’ve spent a lot of time with a brush in my hand… exactly where I like to be.

We can be so quick to decide we’re “bad at makeup” when really, most of us were just never taught what works for our own face💄

The right colours, placement and techniques can completely change how makeup feels, and more importantly, how confident you feel applying it yourself.

You don’t need to know everything. You just need the right guidance.
