The Face Philosophy
Natural cosmetic treatments enhancing your features to have you feeling fresh and fabulous.
Not sure what your skin actually needs? A skin consultation is the best place to start.
Using our Skin Observ, we can take a closer look at what’s happening beneath the surface of your skin, helping us assess concerns such as pigmentation, redness, congestion, texture, dehydration and overall skin health.
From there, we can recommend a treatment and home care plan that's tailored to your skin.

Bruising after a treatment? Completely normal.
Even with careful technique, bruising can still happen. It doesn’t mean something has gone wrong - it usually means a tiny blood vessel beneath the skin has been disrupted.
Following your pre-treatment instructions and aftercare can help reduce your risk and support recovery, but bruising is not always completely preventable.
If you’re ever unsure after treatment, please contact the clinic. We’re always here to guide you!

Hay fever season is here, and if you know, you know...
At The Face Philosophy, we offer a treatment designed to help support patients experiencing common seasonal hay fever symptoms, particularly those affecting the nasal area.
This may be suitable for patients who struggle with frequent sneezing, a runny nose, nasal irritation or springtime allergy flare-ups.
If hay fever is already starting to affect you, ask us about your options next time you’re in clinic or book a consultation to find out whether this treatment may be suitable for you.

If your skin feels worse the more you try to fix it, your skin barrier might be the reason.
We see this all the time in clinic..
You’re using good skincare, you’re trying to be consistent, you’re adding in actives, exfoliating, changing products and doing everything you think your skin needs… but somehow, it still feels reactive, dry, tight, inflamed or like nothing is improving.
And often, it’s not because you’re not doing enough.
It’s because your skin barrier is compromised.
Over-exfoliating, using too many actives, starting retinol too quickly, harsh cleansers, hot showers, picking at your skin, skipping SPF and constantly changing products can all place extra stress on the skin over time.
Your skin barrier helps protect your skin, hold hydration and regulate inflammation. When it’s disrupted, your skin can become more sensitive, dehydrated, red, reactive and prone to breakouts that feel harder to settle.
This is when many people reach for stronger products or more treatments.
But stronger is not always better.
Sometimes, the first step is calming the skin, simplifying your routine, supporting hydration and rebuilding your barrier so we can treat more effectively later.
Healthy skin responds better.
Save this if your skin feels like it’s getting worse the more you do.

While skincare and in-clinic treatments play an important role for your skin, factors like gut health, inflammation, stress, sleep, hormones, hydration and nutrition can all influence how your skin looks and feels.
When your body is under stress internally, your skin may show it through signs like breakouts, redness, sensitivity, dullness, flare-ups, or slower healing.
This is why we take a holistic approach to skin health at The Face Philosophy.
We stock a range of supplements in clinic that may help support your skin, gut health and overall wellbeing, and our nurses can also guide you through simple at-home changes that may support your skin from the inside out.
Not sure where to start? Book a consultation and let’s create a plan that looks at your skin as a whole.
