Did you know that not all physiotherapists can treat vertigo?

At Applecross Physiotherapy, our vertigo specialist Andrew McIntyre has undergone further training in vertigo treatment and management.

In your appointment you will discuss the nature of your symptoms with Andrew so he can determine the underlying cause and create a rehabilitation and management program. A GP referral is not essential for a physiotherapist to treat your vertigo.

🚨 Persistent Pelvic Pain 🚨

Persistent pelvic pain is pain in your lower pelvis or abdomen that occurs most days for a period of 6 months or longer. It can be a symptom of many conditions, such as endometriosis or vulvodynia, but is also a condition itself.

Pelvic floor physiotherapy is used to help strengthen and improve your pelvic floor muscles, abdominals and back. Lucy will develop a personalised treatment plan to manage your pain.

This Men's Health Week we'd like to shed a light on male pelvic floor health. We want to break the stigma and urge men to seek help sooner rather than later.

Men's Health Week | 15th - 21st June

This year's theme is See Your GP, we know many men delay health care because they think they should be able to "handle it".

It's time to break the stigma, because looking after your mental and physical health is one of the most important things you can do. So, this week we ask you to book that GP appointment you've been putting off, even if you feel "fine".

It's also a reminder to open conversations with your partner, brother, father and mates - check in with them about a check up!
