✨ Welcome to our new home! ✨
Take a look inside our new purpose-built rehabilitation facility, in a more central location to better support our patients and their humans. Same great care, just more room to heal, recover, and thrive.
We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve created and grateful to the clients, patients, and referring vets who have supported us along the way.
Come on in and take the tour! We’d love to show you around.

🐾🎓 Happy Graduation to Archie and Maverick! 🎓🐾
* Archie came to see us 3.5 weeks post spinal surgery, he was already able to walk but needed to work on coordination and strengthening
* Maverick was referred following a delayed healing metatarsal fracture and ongoing hindlimb soreness. Assessment identified compensatory muscle tension, spinal discomfort and joint stiffness contributing to his lameness. Maverick is also a sporting dog! so it was important to get him back to doing what he loves.
Through a combination of laser therapy, massage and an individually tailored home exercise program they have managed to get back to all of their normal activities, with above average strength, and no pain or muscle tension.
Well done to Archie, Maverick and their families for all their hard work 🐾❤️

📣 We’re excited to announce we are moving to our new home next week! 📣
Our rehab family has grown, and it’s time for a bigger, purpose-built space in a more central location to better support our patients and their humans. Same great care, just more room to heal, recover, and thrive.
Stay tuned for more sneak peeks as we move in this long weekend! 🙌🏻
⭐️ Gold star patient of the week - Tosca the cat 🐈
Yes, cats can absolutely do rehab too!
Tosca aced his assessment (with plenty of treats of course) while we investigated his hind limb weakness. We found some osteoarthritis, mild spinal discomfort and muscle tightness contributing to his strength imbalance - but the good news is we now have a targeted plan to help him build strength and stay active

🌟 March has seen a whopping 8 patients graduate their rehab programs!
These dogs (and their families) have been working very hard to improve their comfort and mobility.
🐾 Akira - came to see us following an acute onset tetraparesis (unable to walk all 4 legs)
🐾 Wilfred was referred by his behaviour vet for a pain assessment as he had a history of hyperactivity, excessive panting and reluctance to use his dog door and jump in/out of the car. He was found to have lumbosacral pain, hamstrings tension, elbow & hip pain.
🐾 Chewie had a history of skipping and his knees locking. He was found to have bilateral patella luxation, spinal pain, hip arthritis, and secondary muscle tension
🐾 Alfie had a history of intermittent neck spasms sometimes lasting up to 24 hours of discomfort and tension. On exam was found found to have neck and lumbar spinal pain as well as arthritis of his hips and shoulders.
🐾 Kuiper had a history of hindlimb weakness and muscle atrophy following a grade 2 IVDD diagnosis. She had spinal pain, lumbar kyphosis and reduced hip extension
🐾 Lynk came to see us for left hind limb lameness and reluctance to jump with no identifiable joint or bone issues. On exam he was found to have left hamstrings muscle strain, thoracic spinal pain, right hip arthritis and secondary muscle pain and tension.
🐾 Bruce came for post TPLO rehab but also had a history of forelimb trembling when sitting or standing. He had arthritis of all joints causing reduced range of motion as well as carpal collateral ligament pain.
🐾 April had a history of right hind limb lameness where she was intermittently non weight bearing. Despite having radiographs, no diagnosis had been made. She was found to have arthritis of her hips, hocks and carpi as well as mild spinal pain and secondary muscle tension.
A varied bunch of patients but through a thorough full body exam, a combination of laser therapy, massage and an individually tailored home exercise program they are all back to their normal function and activities!
Well done to everyone for their hard work 🐾❤️
