On Friday our club celebrated our first empowerment session for girls within our community that are 12+ years old. We uplifted each other with positive words and also learnt about the wonderful products that are on offer to help us navigate becoming a teenager. Big thank you to our head coach Alexandra Carlotta and Nina Brown whom contacted the session.

Thank you to our sponsors Eltee Sydney and MIMI HAIRCARE FOR KIDS WA Government

Last week, we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming the amazing Reem Abdalazem to our club for a very special workshop focused on choreography, movement and expressivity. 🧜‍♀️💙

Our athletes and coaches loved every moment of the session, learning new ways to bring emotion, creativity and personality into the water and truly connect with their routines. It was such an inspiring and valuable experience for our whole club!

A huge thank you to Reem for sharing your knowledge, passion and beautiful energy with us. We feel so lucky to have had you visit Swan River Sirens and we hope to welcome you back again very soon! 🥰✨

🌟 What an incredible achievement! 🌟

Yesterday, our Swan River Sirens athletes completed their first Star Assessment of the year, and we are so proud to announce that every single athlete passed! 🧜‍♀️

A special congratulations to those who achieved multiple stars, showing their hard work, commitment, and progress throughout the season. And an extra shout-out to Miranda, who achieved an amazing FOUR stars all in once!⭐⭐⭐⭐

Well done to all our athletes for your dedication, perseverance, and passion. We couldn’t be prouder of how far you’ve come. Keep shining, Sirens! ✨

Our headcoach Alex 🙌❤️

She started swimming at six years old — to feel close to her grandfather. 💙

Meet Alexandra Del Sorbo, Head Coach of Swan River Sirens and one of the most experienced coaches in our community.

Alex began her artistic swimming journey in Italy, competing from the age of six and returning to the sport at fifteen to win regional titles in solo and duet. Not long after, she started coaching — and in her very first season led her team to the Italian National Championships.

Nearly 20 years of coaching later, Alex moved to Perth in 2020, became Head Coach of SupaNova, and went on to join the Australian Junior National Team coaching staff.

Three years ago she founded Swan River Sirens, which she describes as one of the most rewarding experiences of her career.

Away from the pool, Alex teaches Italian, French and Drama at Willetton Senior High School, runs her own personal training business, and is working towards a dream of creating an aquatic theatre production one day.

Oh — and she's a professional bodybuilder. 🏋️

We are so glad you found your way to WA, Alex. Our community is better for it.

Happy Mother’s Day to all our beautiful Sirens mums 💐🩷

Thank you for every early morning, every car ride to training, every bun and nose clip, every competition weekend, and every hug after a hard session.
Artistic swimming is not only built in the pool it is built through the love, patience, and support of amazing mums behind the scenes.

Thank you for helping your daughters grow into strong, confident, disciplined young athletes and for helping our Swan River Sirens family continue to grow every season 🌊

Your support means more than words can say.
Today we celebrate you 💕
