Acne Rosacea & the Skin–Gut connection 💫

Acne rosacea is a reflection of underlying internal imbalances, particularly digestive inflammation, impaired gut barrier function (“leaky gut”), and in some cases small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO).

This gut dysbiosis can contribute to heightened immune responses within the skin, presenting as acne, rosacea, eczema, peri oral dermatitis, psoriasis, rashes, hives, and general skin sensitivity, affecting both the face and body.
