I've been doing hair for 16 years, both in Australia and the U.K. The last 5 years were spent working at one of Perth's top salons, where I had the opportunity to style runway hair at both Perth and Melbourne Fashion Week. I like to indulge my creative side and get involved in photo shoots working with other creative people. I am confident in all aspects of hairdressing. I love my job and believe having good hair can make such a difference to a woman's confidence. I will be opened on Thursday, Fridays and Saturdays (Saturdays must be booked a week ahead). The last one may surprise you
I always hope the day runs smoothly, with no surprises.
It’s tough physically and emotionally, and sometimes I wish I had a job that I could turn up, work and forget about when I’m home. I also know I’m so lucky to make women feel beautiful and have cool chats every day. I learn so much from my clients.
Instagram is a double edged sword. I love connecting with other hairdressers but I can’t help comparing myself All. The. Time.
That and making Pinterest boards for that client who said they wanted a change.
Let’s be clear I don’t prefer straight hair to curly. But I love how curly clients have a completely different persona with straight hair. I love seeing how different my colour work looks straight and I love seeing the length. Happy hydrated curls blow dry out so beautifully.
It can be scary coming to see a new hairdresser, but some times it can be the best decision you make.

So I’m a finalist in 2 categories.
Digital hair awards is a global competition! So I’m really chuffed to get this far and be amongst so many other talented hairdressers.
I’ve really decided to put myself ‘out there’ this year which is intimidating for an overthinking introvert like myself.
Some times you have to get out of your comfort zone and do the damn thing even though it’s a bit scary.
Well done to all the other finalists and good luck 🫶🏾
