A little note about AI hair photos as references 🤍

I’ve been sent some beautiful AI images lately, including styles like this one which seems to be really popular. They’re lovely for showing me the colours, textures and overall feel you’re drawn to.

The tricky part is that AI can create hair that doesn’t quite work the same way in real life. The number of dreads, the way they sit at the roots, the volume and the way the waves fall may not be possible to replicate exactly in an actual set and install.

I can absolutely use an AI photo as inspiration and create something with a similar style. I’ll talk you through what’s achievable for your hair and make sure we’re picturing the same real-life result before you book. I just don’t want to promise that your finished install will match an AI image exactly.

Does anyone else go to antique collectors stores and look at all the clamps and vices and think. How can I wrap hair and dread from this?
Or is it just me.
