One of my favourite parts of the job is the conversation that happens after a facial. 😊

Once the treatment is done and we've taken care of your skin, I'll often mention a product or two if I think it could genuinely help you at home. Not in a pushy way — more like a friend saying "you should try this, I really think it'll make a difference."

Living on the Sunshine Coast means most of us carry a bit of colour in our skin — whether naturally or from time in the sun. It's one of the things I love about this part of the world. 🌊

It's also one of the reasons I'm so glad to offer SHR (Super Hair Removal) rather than traditional laser only.

Traditional laser hair removal has historically worked best on fair skin with dark hair — the contrast helps the light target the follicle. Darker skin tones or tanned skin can absorb too much of the energy, which increases discomfort and risk.
