An Evening with the Makers—The Gild, St Kilda
Last week we gathered at Stokehouse in St Kilda with the people bringing The Gild to life. Hosted by our Senior Design Manager Manuela Millan, the evening brought together Stuart Telha and Amy Byrne from Telha Clarke, Luke Mills from South Drawn, and artist Alex Walker for a conversation about the design thinking and craftsmanship shaping the project. Paul Dimattina, our incoming tenant partner, was among those in the room—a genuine reflection of the community The Gild is becoming part of.

Before & after—Ox House, Woollahra Collection
Few buildings on Oxford Street carry a history quite like 80 Oxford Street. In 1895, boxing champion Larry Foley built an athletic hall on this site. Over the next 130 years it became a ballroom once billed as Sydney's most beautiful, a tropical fantasy nightclub, a cabaret venue and eventually a derelict shell. Fast forward to now, Ox House has been reborn as a single residence, preserving its heritage façade while giving it a life entirely its own. More to come as we near the completion of the Woollahra Collection.
