My yarrow is doing great, and I finally had a chance to forage for some plantain. My plan for next week is to harvest some yarrow and hang to dry, and make plantain salve. You’ve heard me talk about plantain before, not so much about the yarrow though. It is a great medicinal plant, both used inside and outside. It is also called Soldier’s Woundwort, and for a good reason. It helps stop bleeding which was great for field medics, and it helps soothe minor skin ailments. As always, please do your own research and make sure it is safe for your intended use. ♥️♥️♥️

Sitting here, entertaining myself with figuring out new layouts for my booth while waiting for my range to be fixed. Yes, I am old school. 🗒️✏️

When you have to work, but the day is as gorgeous as they come, you move your studio outside. ♥️♥️♥️

My dearest people - thank you for all your messages, phone calls and comments, you have made this last week more bearable by being kind! ♥️ I took my time working on things that bring me comfort - choosing my favourite fragrances to work with, not stressing about social media, and taking some deep, deep breaths.

Among other things - I have made my lavender sachets again. I grow a lot of lavender, but never know if it will get me through the whole year. So, every June, if I have enough lavender, I make sachets. It is a beautiful, fragrant lavender, and these little bags make any drawer or a closet smell better. Give them a little squeeze every so often to release more fragrance, and they will last you a long time. And maybe help soothe your nerves and deepen your breaths like they did for me this last week. ♥️♥️♥️

A little announcement - I will not be at tonight. Life had different plans for me. We had to say goodbye to my 16 year old kitty. Raddatatt was with me for the most of those 16 years, and held my hand through more than I care to admit. We found each other at Vancouver SPCA after someone dumped him and 25 other cats in a Vancouver dumpster. It was a love at the first sight. Please hug your kitties a little harder today for me. I will see you again when my heart is little less broken. 💔💔💔
