✨ A little update for my amazing clients! ✨

I’m happy to say that my healing process following brain surgery #4 and spine surgery is going really well so far! 🧠💪🏻❤️‍🩹

If everything continues on this positive path and I get the all-clear from my medical team, I’m hoping to be BACK in November providing both HAIR & LASH services! 💇🏼‍♀️✨👁️

I still have some healing to do, so I’m taking things one day at a time and listening to my body — but I’m definitely getting closer, and I cannot tell you how excited I am to get back behind the chair and lash bed and see all of you again. 🥹🩷

I’ll continue to keep everyone updated throughout October as I heal and get a better idea of my official return date and when I’ll be opening my books again!

Thank you SO much for all of the messages, patience, support and understanding throughout this crazy journey. Four brain surgeries later… I’m more than ready to get back to doing what I love. 🫶🏻

Are your lashes suddenly not lasting like they normally do—even though you haven’t changed a thing with your aftercare? 👀

The reason might have nothing to do with your lash routine. Sometimes, changes happening inside your body can affect how well your extensions retain.

Your natural lashes grow in cycles, and things like medications, hormones, supplements, and changes in your body can influence that cycle. They may also affect your skin and oil production—which can mean a noticeable change in retention.

When those changes happen, you may notice:
✨ Your natural lashes shedding sooner than usual, taking the extensions with them.
✨ Increased oil around the lash line, which can interfere with retention and cause extensions to release sooner.

Some things that may contribute to changes in lash retention include:
• Thyroid medications
• Starting, stopping, or changing hormonal birth control
• Hormonal changes
• Biotin and some hair/nail supplements
• Accutane, retinoids, and certain skin treatments
• Some blood pressure, heart, or mood medications

⚠️ Important: Never stop, skip, or change a prescribed medication because of your lashes. Your health will always be more important than lash retention. Any medication changes should be discussed with your healthcare provider.

So what can you do? 💕
If you’ve recently started or changed a medication, supplement, or hormonal routine, mention it to your lash artist. We can keep an eye on your retention, adjust your lash routine when appropriate, and you may find that booking fills a little closer together helps keep your lashes looking full.

Sometimes your lashes aren’t being difficult—they’re just responding to what’s happening inside your body. 🫶🏼

An Update to My Amazing Clients ❤️

As of today, I have officially been placed on full medical leave until my surgery.

Many of you know I’ve been dealing with a brain injury which causes pressure to build up around my brain. Unfortunately, that pressure has continued to build and affect my eyesight, and my specialists have determined that, in order to preserve the vision I have left, it is no longer safe for me to continue working.

This is one of the hardest posts I’ve ever had to write.

If you know me, you know how much I love what I do. Being behind the lash bed and hair chair has never just been a job it’s my passion, and getting to spend time with each of you has meant more to me than you’ll ever know.

At this point, I honestly don’t know when I’ll be back. My focus now is on surgery, healing, and protecting my vision. But one thing I do know is that I fully intend to return as soon as I’m medically able. I’m not saying goodbye just “see you later.”

Thank you for your patience, your understanding, and for all of the kindness, encouragement, and prayers you’ve given me throughout this journey. It has helped carry me through some incredibly difficult days.

I’ll continue to keep everyone updated as I know more.
