Waited for the sun to take some good photos, but here are my knitting projects from April. ...lots of time to knit when healing a broken leg!

Cast on something different tonight and am loving how the colours are coming together. This will be the Cobblestone Dreams Shawl by . The jewel tones are purchased last weekend, and the neutrals are from my stash, sadly without labels.

...when you're couch-bound and knit for yourself, you use fancy yarn and make two, even when you only need one (for now).

☀️ This yarn looks like s.p.r.i.n.g to me. I see crocuses and daffodils, blue skies and greening grass. 🌼

Birthday ready for a little man whose favourite Ninjago is Kai...and the pattern I found and adjusted from years ago.

Sometimes I am astounded by my own forethought. In 2015 (or so), I made a BUNCH of kids' hats with motifs on them--trains, tractors, penguins, sheep, unicorns... the list goes on.
Now, I have a little man for whom I have a particular design in mind, and knew that this pattern would fit the bill. How surprised was I when I looked in only two spots and found this (very organized) trove of patterns, and that it included both needles and snips!
