Our tallow is carefully rendered and purified six times before it ever becomes part of our soap. From there, every batch is measured, blended, poured, hand-cut, inspected, and left to cure for weeks—because we believe exceptional soap deserves more than shortcuts.
Our Cedarwood & Patchouli bar brings together the earthy depth of cedarwood and the rich character of patchouli in a handcrafted bar made slowly, intentionally, and in small batches.
From raw suet to finished bar, every step is done with care, time, and intention.

Even though we're currently on a brief pause with soap making while we focus on our upcoming move and home build, Luster & Lore is still actively selling from our current inventory at our home location. Receiving this beautiful message from Kaur was the reminder I needed of why I started this journey in the first place.
Over the years, Kaur—and now Sehaj—have become family to us. Kaur lovingly calls me her Canadian mother, and I wear that title with so much pride. Watching them build a life together here in Canada, while growing their careers through hard work, perseverance, and incredible talent, has been such a privilege. I couldn't be prouder of everything they've accomplished.
Out of my 20+ tattoos, Kaur has done the majority of them, and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my skin. I'm already counting down to my appointment on September 3rd.
If you're looking for an exceptional tattoo artist, I can't recommend Inked by Kaur enough. Kaur is an incredibly gifted artist, and Sehaj is an amazing tattoo artist and piercer. They make an outstanding team, and I promise you won't be disappointed.

Day 12 is officially in the books! 🏡💪
Another incredible day of progress, and it's amazing to stand back and watch this dream slowly become a reality. Every day brings something new, and every milestone reminds us why all the planning, hard work, and patience are worth it.
The boys are still working away, and today the Tackaberry slinger truck has been placing the clear stone with precision. Yesterday (Day 11), the footing forms came off, giving us our first real look at the foundation that's been taking shape over the last couple of weeks. Tomorrow, the forms will be going back up as we prepare for the poured foundation walls.
We're also expecting our septic tank delivery from Planes Precast, another exciting milestone that keeps this project moving full steam ahead. It's incredible to see how quickly everything starts coming together once the groundwork is complete.
Every truckload, every bucket of stone, every inspection, every late night, and every helping hand is bringing us one step closer to the home we've been dreaming about. We couldn't be more grateful to our amazing crew, our family, our friends, and everyone who's been following along and cheering us on throughout this journey.
The foundation of a home is built with concrete, but the foundation of a dream is built with hard work, determination, and the people who believe in it.
