3 ways to look after your colour this summer:
1. Use cooler water when washing hair - our hair doesn’t love hot water and you can be releasing your gloss/toner a lot quicker by doing this.
2. Incorporate a repairing treatment like a K18 mask into your haircare routine, to keep hair looking and feeling its best.
3. Always use a leave in spray before brushing and a heat protectant before adding a hot iron (or any heat to your hair)

A lot of people have asked me about the business retreat I went on last week in San Antonio and to be honest my answer is truthful in that it was basically a place to network and connect (my fav part) and it also covers all the things you don’t get taught in hair school like marketing, finances, social media, branding etc
But the one thing I don’t really mention is that you have to earn your spot there. You have to have hit milestones in your business (and prove it with documentation) to even be in the room.
This is and she has made it her mission to help stylists to become truly wealthy in their lives- whatever that means for them: Love, Time, Health and Finances.
Being a business owner can be lonely and tiring and stressful (aswell as all the good stuff and rewarding aspects too!!)
But having a network of people to chat to, share ideas and celebrate wins with is priceless.
I have so much to look forward to and even though it’s hard - I feel right where I’m meant to be 🤍
My client has been enjoying her single doner natural curly K-Tip extensions since January!!
Usually I do NOT recommend going past the 4 month mark as you can start to run into problems at that point, like matting/twisting/dreading or even tension spots.
To keep everything comfortable and safe I always recommend this. So when my client reached out insisting she could go longer I was nervous and then when she came in this week I was pleasantly surprised at how well she did with them!
Because she only wears her hair in her natural curly texture, we used a lot less bonds as the curls create volume on their own which I think really helped with the longevity.
Also worth noting that this client has been on her own hair growth journey for the past couple of years and is meticulous with her hair and scalp care routine.
We now install extensions just to create density only and I couldn’t be more pleased to help her on this journey 🤍
