Your search for a Registered Massage Therapist that understands Hypermobility and EDS is over!
Living with suspected or diagnosed Hypermobility, Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder and Ehlers Danlos Syndrome can be confusing, challenging and maybe a bit lonely.
Others may have dismissed your symptom, this appointment may change that.
One of the unfortunate things about Hypermobility and EDS is the lack of understanding of a) what they are b) how complex they can be and c) how these conditions impact the full body, not just in the joints through extra range of motion or instability.
I'd like to now introduce you to the Hypermobility - EDS Assessment and massage therapy appointment. In the Assessment portion of this appointment, we take a look at a wide range of possible symptoms you may be experiencing, assess for joints that have extra range of motion, and look at your previous history with things like flexibility.
Next we establish the symptoms affecting you most, we formulate a plan for your massage therapy appointment and exercises to help you manage your symptoms.
Your search is over, your symptoms are reviewed and validated, you got a massage and tips to manage your Hypermobile or EDS body in a whole new way.

Let's get you a massage therapy appointment that can help ease that chronic discomfort you feel
A massage is a very individualized experience. What you like during your massage can be different than someone else.
In this video I highlight a number of different things that are normal to request, adjust or experience in your massage therapy appointment
Music can be adjusted to your ideao level either louder or softer.
Pressure can be more or less again depending on your preference and also the tension in your muscles at the time of treatment
The brightness of the room can be changed, if its too bright or not bright enough both can be changed.
It is also acceptable and common to fall asleep during your massage therapy appointment or request more or less talking.
The last thing we can help with is room temperature heating pads are always within reach if you are feeling chilled or we can underage you feet if you are running hot that day.
Let me help you create your ideal massage therapy experience
As your RMT I would like to share this friendly reminder of perfect normal things that can occur on our bodies.
