𝑳𝒊𝒑 𝑩𝒍𝒖𝒔𝒉 𝑼𝒑𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒅𝒆 ✨

This client came to me with existing lip blush by another artist that had faded over time. She was ready for a colour refresh, along with a few subtle shape adjustments, including refining an area of scar tissue where the pigment had not retained as evenly.

Our goal was a warmer, fresher colour and a more balanced, defined shape while still keeping the result natural to her lips.

It’s important to note that these photos were taken immediately after treatment, so some temporary swelling is present — particularly in the last area worked. Swelling can be uneven immediately following a lip blush procedure and may temporarily affect the appearance of symmetry. The true shape and colour are best assessed once the lips have healed and the swelling has fully subsided.

I always like to show you the reality of an immediate post-treatment result rather than editing my photos to create a “perfect” insta pic. Real skin swells, flushes, and responds to treatment, and that’s a normal part of the process. 🤍

The final photo shows how a little gloss brings the fresh colour to life. 💋

𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐝, 𝐬𝐨𝐟𝐭, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐧. 🤍

This is a healed refresh on previous microblading done by another artist. The original shape was mapped beautifully, but microblading isn't always the best fit for oilier skin types. Those crisp strokes can blur faster and heal patchy, as the skin's natural oils affect how pigment holds over time.

For her, machine work was the better choice.

We went with NanoFusion™ Combo Brows, soft pixel shading throughout the brow with a few delicate hairstrokes at the front for a natural, effortless look. The shading builds structure and longevity, while the hairstrokes add softness and dimension.
The shading has healed beautifully. The front hairstrokes just need a little reinforcement at her perfecting appointment, which is completely normal, especially on oilier skin types. This is exactly what we expect to see and what touch-ups are for.

I absolutely love how soft, natural, and beautifully healed these brows look already. Just a few small adjustments and they'll be perfect. ✨

This session was all about creating something that felt like her.

The mountain badge was a simple addition, but the snowflake took a little more exploring. She knew she didn’t want anything perfectly symmetrical or overly geometric. The rest of her arm has a softer, more illustrative feel, and we wanted this piece to belong alongside those memories rather than stand apart from them.

Together, we landed on a snowflake that feels a little weathered, a little wild, and beautifully imperfect. I also suggested using dotwork instead of solid linework to keep it light, organic, and textured. It gives the piece a softer presence while still holding all those intricate details.

One of my favourite parts of tattooing is when a design evolves through conversation. Sometimes the best pieces aren't pulled from a reference—they're built together until they simply feel right.
