3 YEARS OF ALYZA BEAUTY COLLECTIVE 🤍

Three years ago, on August 8th, I took a chance on an idea. Today, I look back at how much this business and I have grown together.

I built Alyza Beauty to create a foundation for my family. Whether they choose to build upon it one day or find their own path, it has given us opportunities and a life beyond what I once dreamed was possible.

This past month, I’ve spent time expanding my knowledge through culture, identity and understanding where I come from. It reminded me that business is about more than what you build. It’s also about knowing who you are, what you stand for and the foundation you’re building from.

Spiritually, I found my wings again. Like the eagle who flies the highest and sees the bigger vision, I learned to rise above, trust what I could see for my life and hold onto that vision independently.

I’m proud of where I come from. I’m proud of what I’ve built. Most of all, I’m grateful for every person and community who has been part of this journey.

Thank you to Chief Jennifer Bone, Tanya Wanbdiska, and Sioux Valley Dakota Nation for welcoming Alyza Beauty Collective, a private beauty institute, into your community to provide beauty education focused on workforce development, economic growth, and opportunity within communities.

Working directly with First Nations and community leaders continues to remind me why I started Alyza Beauty, to share education, mentorship, and skills that create independence and long-term opportunities for students.

Right now, my focus is on education, product development, and private model sets as we continue expanding this work across different Nations and communities.

We’ll be returning to Sioux Valley again in June, and we just wrapped up in Waywayseecappo First Nation. 🤍
