Summer is hot this year 🔥 If you're going for your walks and getting lots of sun... probably also means you're sweating a lot!

If you usually clean your lashes once a day, you may want to do it twice a day to ensure your lashes remain clean and healthy.

The "cat-eye" is one of my most requested lash designs ✨ But did you know that a "true" cat-eye isn't the most flattering choice for everyone?

A traditional cat-eye works best if you have:
🤍 Strong natural lashes on the outer corners
🤍 Neutral or upturned eyes

Otherwise, adding too much length to the outer corners can make the eyes appear more droopy.

Take this beauty, for example 💕 She has naturally straight lashes that can be easily weighed down by extensions. But she specifically wanted a soft eyeliner effect on the outer corners—a look that's very popular in East Asian beauty.

To achieve that, we customized her lash map using:
✨ CC curl through the inner and middle sections to keep her eyes looking lifted.
✨ C curl on the outer corners to intentionally create that soft, elongated effect she was after.

This is why I don't believe in one-size-fits-all lash maps. Every design is customized based on your natural lashes, eye shape, facial features, and your personal style.

The goal is creating the look you love. And that's exactly what custom lash design is all about 🥰

Lash curlers can actually damage your lashes if you use them regularly and/or use a lot of pressure when curling your lashes. This can cause lashes to break. With Korean lash lift, your lashes can stay curled/lifted for 6-8 weeks without lash curler!

And no - Korean lash lift doesn't harm your natural lashes! We use a gentle solution & conditioning treatment to ensure lashes remain healthy.

When do lash extensions cause damage?

❎ poor isolation during application -> more than 1 natural lash is glued to the extension
❎ choosing an extension that is too heavy (long/thick) for the natural lash to handle
❎ aftercare is neglected and build-up on the lash line leads to eye infection or lash lice

At Bloom with Olive, lash health is our number 1 priority. We would never compromise lash health to achieve specific designs. If your natural lashes cannot handle your desired design - we will be honest and look for alternatives with you. 🌸
