This is Masseter Botox ✨

This very specific injection pattern is used to treat two things

1. Jaw clenching (tmj). For people who tend to hold a lot of stress in their jaw and continue to clench without even noticing it. This happens a lot during the night. The relief of this can also help with individuals who suffer from migraines.

2. Face contour. By injecting this muscle it actually helps to slim the sides of the face. However - sometimes this injections can only be good for certain face structures. Sometimes if the face is too slim it can create and hollow affect or even create jowls.

It’s important to understand your anatomy and complete a thorough assessment of the client before proceeding. I started off with a lower dose for this client - enough to provide relief from clenching and to also give you a subtle (but noticeable) contour in her face
