Yesterday, I switched gears and put on my educator hat for a full day of one on one training toward the SugarSMAC® Professional Foundations Certification. ✨
We brought the theory to life through sanitation and infection prevention, client care, technique demonstration, hands on training and live models.
Day 1 built the skills and confidence needed to complete the required model quotas before returning in approximately one month for Day 2 and the final practical evaluation.
Looking forward to seeing our student back for Day 2! Upon successful completion, she’ll be awarded both the SugarSMAC® Professional Foundations Certification and BARE Academy’s Professional Body Sugaring Certification. 🤍
From there, she can begin building her career in professional sugaring, with BARE Academy’s Professional Brazilian Sugaring Certification as the next step.

BARE has grown, I’ve grown, and somewhere along the way I became an educator too.

A big congratulations to Sam of .pc on completing her Brazilian Sugaring Certification with BARE Academy! 🤍
Sam travelled from Pincher Creek to take the next step in her sugaring education and expand her skills into Brazilian sugaring.
Certification day was about bringing everything Sam learned through theory into hands on practice. We worked through technique, positioning, client comfort and aftercare, taking the time to work through each step together and build confidence along the way. 🤍
Sam is now heading back to .pc in Pincher Creek, officially certified in Brazilian sugaring and ready to bring this new service to her clients.
Congratulations, Sam! It was such a pleasure being part of this next step in your education and I can’t wait to see you continue to grow. ✨
