August 30th, 2025 — the day my heart was shattered into pieces. 💔

I was packing my bags, getting ready to spend Christmas with you, not knowing that God had a different plan. Instead of coming home for Christmas, I came home for your funeral. 😭

One year later, I still carry the guilt, wondering if things might have been different if I had planned to come home at Easter instead. Maybe I would have seen you, held you close, and made a few more memories with you.

I am beyond grateful to have been nurtured and raised by you. To me, it never mattered how old you were — you were simply my Champ. But the thought of never seeing or hearing from you again hurts so deeply.

And in the midst of my pain, I saw people for who they truly were and learned lessons I never expected to learn from people I never expected.

I’m holding on to all the memories and the blessings you left me with. I would give anything and forgive anything just to have you back, even if it were only for one more day. ❤️‍🩹

If Jesus tarries and life permits, a project dear to my heart will soon be announced in your honour, celebrating your selfless service to God and humanity. I pray it becomes a lasting expression of your love, kindness, compassion, and impact, continuing to touch and inspire lives.

Until we meet again, I will carry your love, lessons, and memory with me.
