What were your first food aversions?

Recently I have had no appetite but I’m always hungry! My body only wants to eat if it’s something incredibly specific that I feel like eating. Foods I used to like don’t taste the same or don’t sound appetizing at all.

I’m doing my best to get little snacks in throughout the day like apples and oranges and cookies for my blood sugar and I’m now working on not eating as much dairy as requested by my midwife due to some symptoms I’ve been having. I need to double my water intake and make sure I’m getting some protein into my body!

It’s definitely been hard to make sure I’m getting all the food I need with having no appetite. But I’m doing my best to help this little baby grow🤍

Were you nervous for your first ultrasound?

We have our first viability ultrasound in two weeks! I am nervous and excited at the same time but I think mostly nervous. Our only experience with an ultrasound was finding out that our baby was ectopic and that of course didn’t leave a good taste in our mouth for ultrasounds. Only left us with anxiety.

I do have high hopes and a good feeling that this baby is a strong one and in the right spot but of course the worries are still there.
Worried that they may not see anything if it’s too early or worried I’ll hear those dreaded words again.

How did you handle the anxiety of your first ultrasound after loss?

I am 4 weeks pregnant!🤍

What was your earliest symptom?

So far I’m struggling with BAD fatigue. I’m so tired all the time from little tasks! I ran out of breath just having to carry a suitcase up 4 steps😅

I think I’m experiencing minor morning sickness after meals but so far it’s all staying down. I’m so excited to see what the next few weeks bring!
Also still stuck with diarrhea way too often! B***s are definitely pretty large and a bit tender with movement!

I am truly grateful for every symptom I get even if I complain about it. Symptoms are just a sign that the little darling inside of me is growing!
I haven’t had many symptoms yet but I can’t wait to experience everything this pregnancy has to offer me.

How early did you announce your pregnancy?

You’re always told to wait until 12 weeks to announce your pregnancy but I believe that’s meant for the comfort level of others sometimes, not for the parents.
However I do understand that some people are more comfortable sharing after a certain point🤍

Carson and I decided that we would be announcing our pregnancy as early as we wanted to start celebrating!
With having three losses already, we want to celebrate our babies life as long as we know they’re with us🤍 anything can happen at any point in pregnancy and we truly do not believe in a “safe zone“
