When someone asked me what my vision was for this room, I knew I wanted it to feel like me.

A little quirky, a little retro, colourful, imperfect and full of things that make me happy.

Every little corner has a piece of my personality in it. And honestly, being able to create a space that’s so unapologetically me means more than I can explain.

Because for a long time, I think I’ve been figuring out where I fit, too.

And somewhere along the way, I realized I could just create a space where I belonged.

The really beautiful part? Now I get to share it with you.

My hope is that when you walk through my door, you feel comfortable enough to share those little pieces of yourself, too.

The weird stuff. The funny stuff. The things you’re proud of. The things you’re still figuring out.

Well, now I kind of have to.

It started with a can of paint and a vision that was probably a little bigger than my actual skill set.

There were long days, late nights and some really good friends who showed up to help bring this little dream to life.

I DoorDashed hardware store supplies because apparently that’s the kind of woman I’ve become.

I put holes in walls.

Patched those holes.

Then put new holes in the walls.

Measured everything 47 times, questioned my math 48 times and discovered that making things level, centred and cohesive is apparently a full-time fu***ng job.

Did I do things wrong?

Absolutely.

Did I have to do some of them twice?

You bet your ass.

Did I need someone to babysit me through approximately 90% of this renovation?

Without question.

But somewhere between the drywall dust, questionable math, mild emotional breakdowns and constant “does this look straight to you?”…

It all came together.

And I genuinely couldn’t love this little space more.

It’s quirky, colourful, a little retro and completely, unapologetically Wyld Sol.

But more than that, it’s a reminder that you don’t have to know how to do everything before you start.

Sometimes you just need a vision, a little stubbornness, some really fu***ng good friends and the willingness to figure it out as you go.

Even if that means patching the same wall three times.

Here we fu***ng are.

And honestly?

I think we nailed it.

Welcome to the new Wyld Sol.

And let me tell you, the writers were doing entirely too much.

The plot twists.
The questionable decisions.
The relationships that taught me things I didn’t particularly want to learn.
The starting over.
The figuring s**t out.
The moments where I genuinely wondered what the hell I was doing.

10/10 character development.

Would not recommend the experience.

But somewhere along the way, I became someone who trusts herself a whole lot more.

Someone who doesn’t need to have every single thing figured out before taking the leap.

Someone who’s learned that starting over isn’t the same as starting from scratch.

And for the first time in a long time, I’m not just trying to get through the next chapter.

I’m actually really fu***ng excited to see what happens.

There’s something big beginning over here.

Bigger dreams.
Bigger plans.
A little less fear.
And a whole lot of “f**k it, let’s see what happens.”

I’ve worked too hard, grown too much and survived too many questionable plotlines to start playing small now.

Anyway, season 40 is looking pretty fu***ng interesting.

And I have a feeling the best parts haven’t even happened yet.

Next thing I know, I’m emotionally invested in whether Chad texted you back, celebrating your promotion like it’s my own, reminding you that your ex was, in fact, the problem, and hearing about your dog’s stomach issues before your own family does.

Somewhere between “Okay bring your knee ls to your tummy and life your cheek…” and “You’re all done!” we’ve laughed until we cried, solved approximately 73 life problems, and completely forgotten why you were anxious when you walked in.

Behind that treatment room door, you get to breathe. You get to vent, laugh a little too loud, cry if you need to, overshare, change your mind, and simply be you.

Your stories stay with me, but they never leave with me.
