Meet Dakota – Our Manual Osteopathic Therapist!

Dakota is passionate about helping others. She brings exceptional knowledge, genuine compassion, and a heartfelt approach to every treatment.

Dakota has always been drawn to hands-on work and helping others, with a natural curiosity for uncovering the why behind pain and dysfunction. She holds a Bachelor of Health & Physical Education in Physical Literacy from Mount Royal University (2019) and is a registered Professional Kinesiologist.

Before transitioning into Manual Osteopathic Therapy, Dakota worked as a Strength Coach, where she often saw clients struggling with injuries, pain, or movement limitations that held them back—both in the gym and in daily life. Wanting to better understand the root causes and offer more lasting solutions, Dakota pursued her Diploma of Osteopathic Manual Practice, graduating with Honours and Distinction from the Manual Osteopathic College of Canada in 2023.

Today, she uses a variety of gentle, hands-on techniques to restore structural balance, function, and movement to the body’s structures and systems—supporting the body’s natural ability to heal, reduce pain, and improve overall quality of life. Clients seeking to understand the why behind their pain or dysfunction will find Dakota’s approach both insightful and effective. Manual Osteopathy is gentle and non-invasive and uses techniques like postural assessment, muscle energy, fascial release, lymphatic drainage, craniosacral therapy and visceral manipulation.
