My Story
I feel time is of the “ESSENCE” – that it is time for us to eliminate toxins, chemicals and fillers from our bodies and our earth – so why not start with our skin care? My journey towards all natural skin care began when my children were toddlers (all four are teenagers now). Between our family of six – we had several skin issues ranging from severe eczema to a
llergies and rashes. Many doctors and specialists warned me that the only way to heal my youngest son’s skin was through prescription medication – and all of them contained steroids, along with other nasty ingredients. While at my son’s worst times of breakout – I broke-down and used these pharmaceutical creams – I knew there had to be a better way. I was saddened to discover that most of the so called “PURE & NATURAL” products on the market – were anything but that – this is when I became a crazy label lady – some of you may recognize me – the women that spends 2 hours trying to choose a simple moisturizer, lol. Even many of the “Organic” lines on the market contain toxins, parabens, chemicals, synthetic colors, fragrance…. you name it, with a little “organic” product thrown in for label purposes only. I was also a little put out that many of the high end products were mostly water – aqua – as many of them like to label it. Exhausted, I finally gave up and began making my own natural home-made products – everything from eczema cream to zit zap (which was a great hit with the teens, lol). I was determined to keep toxins out of my home and heal my family. In the process I became hooked on pure and natural botanicals and oils. I was amazed to discover the healing powers of these Plant Botanicals. Plants have all the essential healing properties within them – as do we. I have spent years perfecting my ultimate blends of 100% pure and truly natural ingredients such as organic seed and nut oils, pure and organic essential oils and absolutes, hydrosols and floral waters, leaving out the synthetic or harmful chemicals and preservatives that your skin doesn’t need or want. Made without preservatives, CHRYS OILs products are artisan crafted in small batches to keep them fresh and assure the potency of active ingredients. Every ingredient serves a useful purpose; none are added for filling or names. Our products are so much richer and effective as a result – a few drops go a long way. We are also constantly mindful of the environment, selecting recycled or recyclable materials such as glass, and paper for all our packaging. We go the extra mile by using items like acid-free tissue paper, unbleached paper packing tape (made without solvents) and packing that is 100% recyclable. I personally guarantee all my products.
