I studied the (3000hr) Advanced Clinical Massage Therapy Program @ MaKami College in Calgary for 2 yrs. I graduated my program in Dec 2023. My modalities are relaxation, deep tissue massage, hot stone and cupping. Im associated with CRMTA to provide direct billing for most insurance policies.

So what led me into the course and program? Here is a little bit about me..

I have been on a journey of self healing and natural remedies for a long time. After struggling in addiction for many years, I went through a treatment program in Calgary. But noticed that I really took an interest in a lot of the natural remedies such as meditation, acupuncture, massage, and self care. While working as a barber in Calgary which i also loved, i noticed that i really enjoyed giving the scalp massage, face shaves and facials and noticed that the clients loved it as well. I also really enjoy working one on one with a client..So this is when i set out on this journey to become an RMT, I enjoy helping people and seeing a person feel better or relaxed after a massage is the best reward there is. I enjoy education around natural healing and remedies. I also enjoy continuing education through my association, which is an important part of being an RMT is staying up to date with current massage modalities and theory. Knowledge is power, like they say but most importantly i think it’s a great refresh of things and to keep up to date.
